On the basis that the category "back tilts" is both not notable, and not accurate.
On the basis that the term "back tilts" is both not notable, and not accurate.

With regards to accuracy, none of these moves are actually tilts. They are all command inputs, and are grouped under the label of "AttackStand" in the scripts, along with 3 other moves. Furthermore, they are never referred to as tilts in-game either. Therefore the label of back tilt is a misnomer, and there is no technical basis for labelling them as back tilts.

As far as notability goes, it doesn't have that going for it either. The case of Terry's back special, and how it is neither labeled nor categorized on this Wiki as a back special; largely justified by the fact that a move type that is exclusive to one character was not determined to be notable enough for the creation of a new category, clearly demonstrates this. Given that it has already been decided that a single-character specific move type is not sufficient to justify creating a category for that move type, there's no reason why this case should be any different. :the Back Tilt notation was my way to keep track of the input for the move when making the hitbox visuals. I don't think the category is necessary. Hitbox Enthusiast Zeck (talk) 18:34, July 19, 2021 (EDT)
