Community Safety Resource Project
The Community Safety Resource Project (CSRP) is a volunteer-driven consultation panel dedicated to maintaining a positive, welcoming, and safe environment in the Super Smash Bros. community. The project was in development for years before being officially launched on September 17th, 2024. It serves as a successor to the SSB Code of Conduct Panel.
The primary focus of the panel is their "Resource Directory", a list of health and well-being resources for competitors and organizers. These resources are displayed on a map, showing services that are available either nationwide or in a player's local scene. This directory is regularly updated.
Alongside their Resource Directory, the CSRP also features a "Restricted Player Register", a list of players the panel recommends a ban for. Unlike the Global Ban Database, the CSRP is not directly involved with deciding bans. Instead, bans are determined through unaffiliated Code of Conduct panels, usually in the case's local region; the CSRP themselves may also help create such Code of Conduct panels in scenes that do not have one. The Restricted Player Register is partnered with SSBMRank, LumiRank, and SchuStats: any player who appears on the list are disqualified from their respective lists, and any events these players attend are disqualified from the rankings as well.
