'''Big Battlefield''' ({{ja|大戦場|Daisenjō}}, ''Large Battlefield'') is a stage exclusive to {{forwiiu}}. It was revealed in the ''[[Super Smash Bros. for Wii U: 50-Fact Extravaganza]]'' presentation.

==Stage overview==
Big Battlefield is, as its name implies, a bigger version of {{SSB4|Battlefield}}, specifically designed for [[8-Player Smash]]. With respect to the original stage, the main platform is wider and there are six floating platforms instead of three, arranged in a pyramid formation. While it is designed for more than four players, Big Battlefield is available in normal Smash matches as well.

Big Battlefield shares all of Battlefield's [[My Music]] tracks.

Big Battlefield's Ω form is exactly identical to Battlefield's.

==Tournament legality==
Big Battlefield is banned from tournaments, the reason being that it is simply too big for a normal match; faster characters can abuse the size of the stage to run away and win by [[Time out]]. Additionally, the platform layout allows [[Camping|Circle Camping]]. The stage's size can be considered good for 3 vs 3 or 4 vs 4 matches, though.

==Trivia==
*This stage is one of three to share its music with another stage, the other two being [[Pirate Ship]] and [[Super Mario Maker]].
**Of those three, it is the only one that is part of the base game rather than being [[DLC]].
**It is also the only one to take music from one stage, as opposed to multiple stages.
