| Big Battlefield is, as its name implies, a bigger version of {{SSB4|Battlefield}}, specifically designed for [[8-Player Smash]]. With respect to the original stage, the main platform is wider and there are six floating platforms instead of three, arranged in a pyramid formation. While it is designed for more than four players, Big Battlefield is available in normal Smash matches as well.

| ==Tournament legality==

| Big Battlefield is banned from tournaments, the reason being that it is simply too big for a normal match; faster characters can abuse the size of the stage to run away and win by [[Time out]]. Additionally, the platform layout allows [[Camping|Circle Camping]]. However, the stage's size can be considered acceptable for 3 vs 3 or 4 vs 4 matches.
