Editing Arwing

The '''Arwing''' ({{ja|アーウィン|Āuin}}, ''Arwing'') is the brand of one-man spaceship used by the [[LylatWiki:Star Fox (team)|eponymous mercenary team]] in the ''[[Star Fox]]'' series, and is featured in every ''Star Fox'' game. As such, it has made appearances in all of the ''Smash Bros.'' games.

Arwings appear as a staple feature throughout the entire ''Star Fox'' franchise. Developed by Space Dynamics Co., the Arwing comes with revolutionary features such as the G-Diffuser technology for antigravity, as well as the ability to put up a brief electromagnetic shield by performing a barrel roll. Aside from the [[Landmaster]], the Arwing is Fox and co.'s primary mode of transportation throughout their battles, and remains roughly the same in every installment. In ''{{s|lylatwiki|Star Fox Command}}'', however, nearly every pilot had their own unique models of Arwings or other aircraft.

Arwings also appear as stage elements/obstacles in the [[Sector Z]] stage. They appear occasionally to fly around and shoot their laser beams. Any character that makes contact with the lasers take a decent amount of damage. The Arwings do not always shoot, but sometimes just fly over the stage instead. Characters can jump on the Arwing while it is flying over the Great Fox. If the Arwing flies off the screen, then that character that was on the Arwing will receive a Star KO. The Arwings do not specifically target anyone when they fire their lasers, instead going by their own patterns. You can also sometimes see 2D Arwing sprites in the distance of the stage.
