Aarosmashguy (also known as Aaron) is an American smasher and Falco main from Minnesota. Aarosmashguy ranked first in Minnesota for Melee on the debut of the Minnesota Power Rankings and continued to place highly on future iterations until his retirement in 2015. He also competed in Project M and Brawl, having been ranked in state in both.
Background[edit]
Aaron was not known to travel too far to go to larger, higher level tournaments. However, his success around his home state was rather large. Aaron has taken first place at most of the St. Paul Biweeklies.
He has played competitively since 2006, a factor in his high placements. Most others in his area started playing competitively more recently. His skills developed as the new tricks such as wavedashing, edge hogging, teching, L-canceling, and dash dancing were discovered.
