Smasher pages[edit]

Hey, thanks for creating the Smasher pages for ARJAY!! and others. Just a few quick pointers that could help in the future:

  • When possible, please link tournaments to tournaments on the wiki and not the Smash.gg/Challonge/Braacket pages. You've been doing that for the most part, but there are a few that you missed because certain symbols like "#" and "|" are used for stuff in the wikispace and therefore are seldom, if ever, used in tournament page titles (eg, it would be Ultimate Naifu Wars 3, instead of Ultimate Naifu Wars #3). There are a few tournaments that we have the names shortened to get rid of the unnecessary stuff, such as HABBY Birthday 2020 and Super Galaxy Gambit x Collision instead of "HABBY Birthday 2020 - An Ultimate Wi-Fi Major" and "Super Galaxy Gambit x Collision - PAS Qualifier," respectively. It may be very difficult to tell which ones are linked to the wiki or not, but a good rule of thumb is that if it's a PGR'd tournament or has significant Wi-Fi entrants (that is not a weekly or bi-weekly), chances are it could be on the wiki.
  • Make sure not to include tournaments where players did not show up. It does seem like you're combing through Smash.gg profiles, which can make it hard to tell whether a player full DQ'd or didn't even show up in the first place. I recommend using this website for Ultimate tournaments, though it's less helpful for any other game

Other than that, keep up the good work! CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 13:05, July 4, 2021 (EDT)

New SoCal PR[edit]

Hey, just wondering if I should go ahead and add this pr for socal

https://twitter.com/KoDoRiNSSB/status/1482081378346827777/photo/1

haven't seen anyone put it up yet and was wondering if it's because it hasn't been officially posted and only by kodorin/other players on the pr, or because no one hasn't noticed yet. wanted to make sure since socal pr is for a big region, even though it seems fine to post it, just wanted to make sure. No one does it probably because the post isn't an official graphic? Grand Dad.png NPM Morr!? NaughtyPigBoi.jpg 09:42, January 18, 2022 (EST)

Ok, thanks for the clarification! - Flarco (talk) 09:45, January 18, 2022 (EST)

Made posts on the proposals category[edit]

Just made posts on the proposals category on the following forums:

  • Adding a section for the pronunciation of a player's tag? (this issue seems resolved, so might just be sitting there, but idk)
  • SSBMRank/MPGR naming scheme

I'd appreciate it if some of you guys took a look at them, so we could try to trim down some of the active proposals on the wiki.

Thanks!

is it alright to add it? checking for permission just in case

- Flarco (talk) 11:19, January 23, 2022 (EST)

There is no need for permission whenever an official graphic is released, just need to do the PRs properly. Grand Dad.png NPM Morr!? NaughtyPigBoi.jpg 11:45, January 23, 2022 (EST)

N3zModGod[edit]

Hey, I was thinking of doing a page on N3zModGod, but saw you have a draft of it. If you aren't interested in finishing it, I'll add his more recent results on. PowerShield03 (talk) 11:29, August 13, 2022 (EST)

Feel free to go ahead, it's no problem. I haven't been active on the wiki for like 6 months, so it's just been sitting there in my drafts. You can add anything to the page or change anything already on it. You can even finish and move the page if you want to, I don't mind.

Sweet! Just planning on adding his results past 2020, thanks for responding so soon. PowerShield03 (talk) 12:24, August 14, 2022 (EST)
