Hey, is there an updated version of the GSC, or a thread on smashboards? The links are broken.

I moved the French version of the GSC to [Global Smasher Compendium/Français], to lean up the article. --MaskedMarth 16:58, October 19, 2006 (GMT)

That's fine, but why not credit Doraki for the translation? He DID do it and it WAS very nice of him. --Simna ibn Sind 18:55, October 19, 2006 (GMT)

It was extremely nice of him to translate, but I don't think it's appropriate to credit him in the article, any more than it is appropriate to include "thanks to MaskedMarth for writing the article" in previous tier lists. A Wiki isn't the place to attribute credit and thanks - by definition it's a place where everybody contributes, and the reward for their work is a better article.
I feel a little bit guilty every time I take credit away from an article - xif and tobias from the wavedashing article, cunning from the Fox article - and I don't mean to at all detract from Doraki's hard work, but I feel that giving him credit within the article isn't the right approach to SmashWiki. --MaskedMarth 20:50, October 19, 2006 (GMT)

I think un update to this page would be in order. Specifically, the screenshots section, it's really out of date.. Not only does the newer version of GE have a different & better look to it, but also, there are a lot more smashers on here now than what's in those old pics.

And Simna, do you think I should add on the MySpace GSC page (SSBC) at the bottom of the page as an external link? --DRGN 08:17, May 20, 2007 (GMT)

¿What about a Spanish version?[edit]

I'm a volunteer =) --Dyna 22:40, January 31, 2007 (GMT)

Oh most definitely yes...if you can take the english page and translate the whole thing into Spanish then that would help loads.--Simna ibn Sind 23:43, January 31, 2007 (GMT)

Spanish version done. --Dyna 13:26, February 2, 2007 (GMT)

So I kinda rewrote everything...[edit]

Well, not everything, but the format has been cleaned up and altered slightly to make it less of an instruction manual than it was. I took the system requirements out and linked to them externally instead, too; it was a little much for a wiki. All the other noteworthy changes are mostly stylistic, I just hope they're acceptable. *thumbs up* -- Randall00 21:59, February 23, 2007 (GMT)
