'''Scizor''' ({{ja|ハッサム|Hassamu}}, ''Hassam'') is a fictional creature in the {{uv|Pokémon}} media franchise.

Scizor is a Bug/Steel-type Pokémon introduced in {{iw|bulbapedia|Generation II}}, and is categorized within the Pokédex at #212 as the "Pincer Pokémon". It evolves from {{pkmn|Scyther}} when {{iw|bulbapedia|trade}}d while holding a {{iw|bulbapedia|Metal Coat}}. It also gained a {{iw|bulbapedia|Mega Evolution}} in {{iw|bulbapedia|Generation VI}}.

{{iw|bulbapedia|Metal Claw|move}} is a Steel-type move with 50 base power (which, in the world of [[Pokémon]], is quite weak), 95% accuracy and a 10% chance of raising the user's attack by one level. Scizor can learn it in every game.

Scizor, when summoned by a thrown [[Poké Ball]], uses Metal Claw as its attack. Scizor runs forward for a short moment, then jumps straight up and falls down, eventually off the bottom of the screen. Its role is similar to [[Hitmonlee]]'s in ''[[Super Smash Bros]]''; any character that makes contact with Scizor will take heavy damage. Scizor also forces characters to the top of the screen if they make contact with it. Scizor's attack does not harm the summoner.

Scizor does not return as a Poké Ball Pokémon. Scizor cameos in the background of [[Kalos Pokémon League]] when the stage is in the Ironworks Chamber.

Scizor's trophy is exclusive to {{forwiiu}}. It is part of the ''Pokémon Gold & Pokémon Silver'' [[Trophy Box]].

Scizor returns as a Poké Ball Pokémon. When summoned, Scizor dashes forwards and jumps around, slashing multiple times with its claws. When finished, it makes a gesture and quickly flies away. Due to Scizor already also appearing in Kalos Pokémon League, it cannot be summoned there.

Scizor also appears as a [[Summon|summonable]] [[Primary spirit]]. It can be summoned with the spirit cores of [[List of spirits (Metroid series)#Zebesian|Zebesian]] and [[List of spirits (Super Mario series)#Sidestepper|Sidestepper]].

*Oddly, Scizor's ''Melee'' portrayal resembles its female form while its ''Ultimate'' portrayal more closely resembles its male form. However, this is most likely a coincidence as gender differences in ''Pokémon'' were not introduced until after ''Melee''.
