I am suggesting that we make an update history page for each character that has been changed by updates. The character's page in "Update history" and list these kind of pages display the same data. It will be more consistent to to transclude the data from each page I am purposing to make. See here for more details. -- Ethan(Discussion) 14:11, 10 February 2016 (EST)

- Ultimately, this will probably end up saving a ton of space and (if we still get balance patches, which I doubt) time. Nyargleblargle (Contribs) 17:03, 10 February 2016 (EST)

- we got this stuff Poultry(talk) the fluffy 15:56, 10 February 2016 (EST)
- I am saying we use one page (by transcluding to copy to data to multiple different pages) for that stuff and for each character page. I'm not sure if you know what I am talking about. We are already talking about that on Serpent King's page. -- Ethan(Discussion) 16:55, 10 February 2016 (EST)

I'd be glad not to have the same info written in two different places, but how exactly is this going to work with having separate changelog pages for each update? Zyrac(talk•contribs) 03:55, 11 February 2016 (EST)
- We are going to have separate changelog pages for each character, not each update. So if a 1.1.5 update where to be made, that changed a certain character, we would put the changes in that character's page, which would probably be "<fighter's name> (SSB4)/List of updates" to automatically update any pages that use that data via transclusion. -- Ethan(Discussion) 12:04, 11 February 2016 (EST)
- ...But right now, there are seperate changelog pages for each update, listing the changes that update made to each character. What happens to those? Zyrac(talk•contribs) 15:56, 11 February 2016 (EST)
- Why didn't I think of that? I'll ask Toomai about what he thinks we should do about those pages. Maybe we'll have them all on one big page. -- Ethan(Discussion) 16:10, 11 February 2016 (EST)
- Maybe we could make the character's update pages more template-like and add a switch tag, so you can choose to display only one update or all of them. That way we can keep the lists of changes per update. TheSilentHero 16:53, 11 February 2016 (EST)
- Switch tag? Do you know how to do that? -- Ethan(Discussion) 17:05, 11 February 2016 (EST)

I have an idea in the works for this. Please be patient, it's a particularly complicated template. Serpent King 17:46, 11 February 2016 (EST)
