User talk:Nintenzilla
I appreciate your enthusiasm in editing. I want to be clear that reversion of an edit is not intended as a personal slight, but rather a disagreement about the value of the content of that edit alone. The other trivia you edited in was much more in line with the kinds of things we report in trivia sections. I hope to see more quality editing from you. Miles (talk) 17:41, 25 March 2015 (EDT)
Thanks, You'll be seeing me around more often, I can't wait to dive in, Smash is just full of trivia and other things!
Regarding Leaks
You seem to be adding random fake leaks over here. I'd just like to remind you of the rules for adding a rumor (copied from the page's hidden text).
- This article exists to document NOTABLE rumors. As such, any rumors added to this page must have some degree of notability for them to stay.
- Check to see whether or not the rumor is on the page in the first place. Character rosters, for instance, are covered in the "General" section, and thus, do not require placement on any other sections of the page.
- Notability of rumors should involve either having significant speculation and/or spread in the community (such as large threads on the SmashWorld Forums or coverage by notable gaming-related newssites), or have a notable characteristic that differentiates them from other rumors. An example of the former would be the Leon S. Kennedy rumor from Brawl (owing to its presence on the large site of IMDB and its recognition in Wikipedia's now-discontinued FAQ for Brawl's page), while an example of the latter would be the Lucina rumor for SSB4 (as it was the first rumor for SSB4 that involved the use of hacks for Brawl).
- If a rumor is either confirmed as factual or fictional, then update the specific section as to reflect this. DO NOT REMOVE SECTIONS FROM THE PAGE IF THEY ARE PROVEN AS TRUE OR FALSE.
- If a rumor is removed and you believe it to be notable, outline on the talk page of this article for why you think it is notable. DO NOT IMMEDIATELY EDIT THE RUMOR IN QUESTION BACK INTO THE ARTICLE.
- The examples on this page are listed in roughly chronological order. If possible, attempt to continue this trend.
That's all. Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 09:59, 26 March 2015 (EDT)
Thanks, oh and by the way I keep adding these because I know people who talk about them. I just use them because I know people talk about them. Such as this leak, which while well known I always could tell it was faked. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFNhYHPAhhg
Hey there, just a reminder
I just happened to notice that you haven't been signing your post. In forums (like Smash Arena) and talkpages (like this one), you need to add 4 tidles like this ~~~~ at the end of your message in order to distinguish yourself from other users. I'll be hoping you can do this in your next post in either forums and talkpage.
I also feel the need to tell you that you can show previews of your edits before saving it in order to prevent spelling mistakes. It's better to do one big edit than several small edits, since it doesn't flood the recent changes page. You can check out the basics here. Anyway, thanks for your help in expanding this wiki, I wish you good luck! Kirbythe Amazing Know my power! 11:21, 27 March 2015 (EDT)
Just a heads up...
Your signature has no link to your userpage, which it's supposed to have. Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 12:56, 17 April 2015 (EDT)
Sorry, I'm having problems with that! Nintenzilla 13:19, 17 April 2015 (EDT)
- Here, copy-paste this into the signature section on your preferences (found at the top right corner of the wiki):
- [[User:Nintenzilla|Nintenzilla]] ([[User talk:Nintenzilla|talk]])
- That should fix your problem. Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 13:22, 17 April 2015 (EDT)
Thanks! Nintenzilla (talk)13:22, 17 April 2015 (EDT)
Just a heads up...
No, you can't just "do what you want". If something is removed, there's probably a reason behind it, and you probably shouldn't add it back. Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 12:07, 20 April 2015 (EDT)
I have to say something
Maybe I should stay, I just need to learn the ropes!Nintenzilla (talk)14:36, 20 April 2015 (EDT)
- In that case, maybe I can give you something that'll help you. Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 13:28, 21 April 2015 (EDT)
Hi there!
Welcome to our wiki, and thank you for your contributions! There's a lot to do around here, so I hope you'll stay with us and make many more improvements.
- Read this first as it provides many great resources designed to help users get oriented with the wiki and become part of the community.
- Visit the recent changes to see what other people are editing right this minute, and where you can help.
- Questions? You can ask at the help desk or on the "discussion" page associated with each article, or post a message on my talk page!
- Need help? The community portal has an outline of the site, and pages to help you learn how to edit.
I'm really happy to have you here, and look forward to working with you!
- Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 13:28, 21 April 2015 (EDT)
- That should give you a few things to look at to help you learn the ins and outs of SmashWiki. ^_^ Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 13:28, 21 April 2015 (EDT)
Your reversions
I see that a large portion of your edits are simply reversions of others' edits, often in violation of SW:1RV. You need to learn to use talk pages to discuss disputes over content instead of using reversions to state your opinion, which leaves to further mess should you be outvoted or incorrect. Grammar
I noticed you keep using "their" improperly. I would like you to know that there is a difference between "their" and "there". Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 15:30, 5 May 2015 (EDT)

Relax a little!
Whilst it's definitley nice to see you're absolutley raring to go when you're editing this wiki, quite a lot of your edits are being struck down by other users (myself included). One thing that can help is staying on top of what the wiki opinion is. When editing a page, click on the little history tab and look at the last few changes to the page. It can really help you make sure that you're not just redoing stuff that's already been deleted. Also, when someone reverts your edit, it's NEVER personal. They just disagree with you. More often than not, rather than just going to talk with "This is why I want it there!", it's better to be polite and say "Why don't you want it there?". You'll get a response mote often, and you'll get more of an idea of what people think. Finally, Recent Changes. Use it. Recent Changes is the most helpful tool on a wiki, as it helps you see what's going on, how things are changing, how everything's run, and so on. If you don't already, leave Recent Changes idling on another tab whilst you're doing other stuff. Trust me, it helps! Anyway, rant-ish over, and I hope you found this helpful! Your Userpage
Been meaning to bring this up: you don't necessarily ask for others to help you make your userpage; rather, you go around the wiki, look at what other people have, and see what you think would go on yours. Then, if it's something like userboxes or character competency charts, you would copy paste (or, in the case of the CCC, use the templates that are on the wiki), and then make changes accordingly. - Okay! Nintenzilla (talk) 09:06, 15 May 2015 (EDT)
Talk pages
When putting something in a talk page, you should keep in mind a few things.
- Don't expect people to respond immediately. Wait for others to see it.
- Don't continuously edit what you put originally. That's what the preview button is for.
That's all. Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 12:27, 20 May 2015 (EDT)
- Sorry! Nintenzilla (talk) 12:29, 20 May 2015 (EDT)
- I was also a bit shy on what people would think of this info so I hesitated. Nintenzilla (talk) 12:32, 20 May 2015 (EDT)
You should...
...probably reread the policies. You seem to have trouble following the simplest ones (such as no removing talk page content), and that causes problems a lot. Just make sure you have a clear understanding of them :) ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 16:04, 20 May 2015 (EDT)
If you want help with your user page...
Check out other's userpages. "edit" them, get whatever grabbed your interest (competency chart, etc) then close the edit without saving. Copy over to your page and edit as you see fit. Serpent King (talk) 02:37, 23 May 2015 (EDT)

This is one of the many policies you seem to struggle with, and you should probably start reading and following it before you dig yourself a grave on this site. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 15:21, 28 May 2015 (EDT)

That revert on the Shantae rumor was the third or fourth time it had been reverted. Read this policy. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 18:00, 2 June 2015 (EDT)
Dude calm down. Now there was a reason why Miles protected the List of rumors. I know it sucks for everyone else as well but its like saying if one does it then everyone gets it. Dots (talk) The Bullet 19:48, 2 June 2015 (EDT)
