Biography
I'm Kyle Steven Beggs, or KBeggs. You may also know me as RikotheFoxKid, as that's the name I went by when this site was still hosted by Wikia. I still use that name in other places as well, such as YouTube, Pojo.com, and Reddit (where it's shortened as RtFK).
I'm an avid fan of Super Smash Bros., and have been since the first game came out. I never knew of its competitive aspects until I discovered SmashWiki, after which point I indulged in it, studying the competitive aspects thoroughly. The first one I tried to play competitively was Brawl, although I eventually became more interested in Melee and switched my focus to it shortly before Project M 2.0 was released.
I enjoy every game in the series, although my favorite gameplay came from Melee. I'm a fan of fast paced action, and I love all of the speed and advanced techniques that Melee has. However, I love Brawl as well; instead of seeing it as an inferior sequel to Melee, I like to see it as its own separate game with its own different style of play. I like Smash 64, but not as much as Melee and Brawl.
Characters
Super Smash Bros.
The only character in the original SSB that I truly consider myself good with is Captain Falcon. Aside from him, I am also decent with Mario.
I can somewhat play as a majority of the SSB64 cast, although I do not find particular enjoyment in Donkey Kong or Jigglypuff, and I absolutely despise playing as Luigi.
Super Smash Bros. Melee
My best character in Melee is without a doubt Marth. I have also picked up Fox, and while I believe I am decent with him., I wouldn't call myself good.
I generally avoid playing the lower tier characters (aside from Roy). I'm also not particularly good with Peach.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Like Melee, my best character in Brawl is once again Marth. After him I also enjoy using King Dedede. I play Meta Knight too, if I'm not being serious.
My low tier characters of choice are Mario and Captain Falcon.
In the past, I prided myself in being good with Sonic. It wasn't until I went to college that I realized I wasn't that great with him after all. Over time, I started enjoying Sonic less and less the more I tried improving with him. Now, I barely play Sonic ever.
Super Smash Bros. 4
I don't know who I'm going to play yet in SSB4, although I have taken a particular interest in Mega Man and the Wii Fit Trainer.
Project M
My choice of characters in Project M is identical to that of Melee, with my main being Marth and alternates being Fox and Sheik.
Of the other characters, I enjoy Ike, Sonic, and Mario, although I wouldn't call myself great with any of them.
Character Loyalty
I feel that some players have a degree of loyalty to a certain character, and will play them in each game regardless of their position on the tier list (although possibly not seriously).
My loyalty definitely lies with Marth, as I play him in every game or mod he appears in. I also have a degree of loyalty to Fox and Mario, being able to enjoy them in every game as well.
At a point in time I was also fiercely loyal to Captain Falcon. This time has since faded, and I now use him exclusively in Smash 64 (and occasionally in Brawl).
