Issues regarding your edits so far

Hey, I just had to go through all the recent edits you've made to see, because there were a lot of things that stood out to me. I'll be blunt and I hope you understand. For context, I first noticed these problems when you added the summary for Mii Swordfighter, and was the one who edited all of it to read better.

Please check your grammar, spelling, capitalization and punctuation for anything you edit, as they have been very sloppy. I know your additions are all in good faith, but there have been so many formatting errors that someone always needs to step in and fix minor mistakes. It really inconveniences others, to the point that your additions aren't beneficial.

Some problems I've seen have been:

  • Starting a sentence with lower case (eg. "the multi-hits have less base knockback...")
  • Ending a sentence without a full stop (eg. "and less knockback scaling (100 to 80)")
  • Incorrect spelling (you have spelled "with" as "whit" many, many times. Please, a typical browser highlights incorrect spelling with a red line. Right click and check if your spelling is correct!)
  • Not capitalizing names properly or inconsistently (eg. "Ness and Fox are the...... as ness has a worse matchup spread than yoshi", "If Kirby uses the final smash). Names should always be capitalized, and Final Smash is always capitalized, although moves like forward tilt and down throw don't require them.
  • Trivia that is considered suspect or irrelevant (eg. "Ness and Fox are the only characters whit a worse average matchup spread than a character ranked below them on the tier list, as ness has a worse matchup spread than yoshi". This is extremely niche and irrelevant in the long run).

Most of your edits are on older pages, which means less people are likely to check your errors and revert them. From just skimming through your edits through January, there's so many errors that I'm considering reverting a lot of them because of the grammatical errors. It should be quite telling that you yourself seem to know this is the case (even listing it on your user page), so please do something about it if you really do want to improve. I'm sorry for sounding quite annoyed, but the amount of mistakes I've seen has been quite staggering. Mexi (talk) 14:52, January 27, 2025 (EST)
