Origin[edit]

This track is a remix of Star Fox 64's "Opening Theme". The beginning is from "Demo 1", a variation of the "Opening Theme" that plays first at Corneria's mission preview, with variations of the theme matching the length of said preview or the intensity of the events to unfold for subsequent missions. This version has not appeared since the original Super Smash Bros., where it played on the Sector Z stage. It is very close to the original, military march-style iteration of the theme, only using different instrumentation due to the Nintendo 64's hardware limitations.
