A Borboras (ブーバス, Boobas) is a moderately common enemy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Subspace Emissary mode, which first appears in The Plain.

In the Subspace Emissary[edit]

It has a thin body, and its head resembles a trumpet that delivers blasts of wind. On their own, Borborases either skip around or stand idle. The creature is not particularly dangerous, but it can disrupt players by generating wind from its mouth that can push them into other enemies and traps. The strength of Borboras' wind and its attack rate increases at higher difficulties, making it harder to get past them or defeat them. Players will take damage from if they touch its head when it starts blowing wind. It will start blowing if the player is in range of its wind (about 3 times the width of Donkey Kong).

Trophy[edit]

Borboras's trophy in Brawl
Borboras
A Subspace foe. Although humanoid in form, it's characterized by a head that resembles a wind instrument decorated on top with trumpet valves. It can be quite annoying--when it spots you, it'll blow you off balance with some serious wind from its mouth. And where does it get off, skipping around so cheerfully? I mean, who skips these days? Seriously.
