Smash Factor 8 was a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate major tournament that included Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee. It was held in Puebla, Mexico, from July 26th-28th, 2019. It was the largest Smash tournament held in Mexico for 3 years until Smash Factor 9.

- This tournament breaks MkLeo's three year streak of winning Smash Factor for the most recent Super Smash Bros. game (which began with his victory at Smash Factor 4). Smash Factor 7 was won by ANTi, however Leo did not attend that year.
- The singles tournaments for Melee and Ultimate were both won by American players, while the doubles tournaments for both respective games were won by Mexican players.
- This is the second year in a row two singles events were won by American players, with Nintendude and ANTi winning the previous year.
- The doubles tournaments for both Melee and Ultimate were both won by (different) players named Javi.
- The Ultimate singles event at Smash Factor 8, Pound 2022, Smash Factor 9, and King Of Fields 95 3 have the most diverse top 8 at a major in terms of countries represented at 6: at Smash Factor 8, the countries being represented are Mexico, USA, France, Netherlands, Japan, and Costa Rica.
