Ivysaur (SSBB)

Ivysaur (フシギソウ, Fushigisou in the Japanese versions) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, in a sense; it is one of three Pokémon that can be played when Pokémon Trainer is selected from the game's character select screen, the other two being Squirtle and Charizard. It is likely to be an all-around character like Mario.

Ivysaur is rare sight as a fighter, because it is a specifically quadrupedal character, even in comparison to Pikachu and Pichu who alternate between bipedal and quadrupedal action. Its alternate costume appears to be its Shiny form accordingg to Smash Bros. Dojo.
