Trivia

  • Though Xenoblade Chronicles X is represented in Ultimate by several Spirits, no music tracks from the game appear in the soundtrack.
  • Songs from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 are owned by the composers of the tracks, rather than the owner of the IP. This trait is shared with the music from the first two Sonic the Hedgehog games, the Dragon Quest series, the Culdcept series, Soma Bringer, and Style Savvy: Styling Star.
    • Prior to the 11.0.0 update, all songs from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 were stated to be owned by "Séptima Ley Co.,Ltd."
  • For unknown reasons, all Xenoblade Chronicles 2 soundtracks available before DLC play at a lower volume than all other tracks.
  • An instrumental version of Drifting Soul appears during Pyra and Mythra's reveal trailer, but doesn't appear in-game.
  • Xenoblade Chronicles is the third series from the base game to gain new songs through DLC, the first two being Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy.
    • Much like Final Fantasy, the three Xenoblade Chronicles 2 songs in the base game are listed in between certain DLC songs to match the relative order that they are heard in that game.
