Autoconfirm
Is it possible to have autoconfirm status early? There's some images i want to replace. Thanks Conker the Squirrel (talk) 22:50, 31 July 2018 (EDT)
- No, it is not possible to get it early. You have to have 7 days and 10 edits. Awesomelink234, the Super Cool Sonic Fan Leave a message if needed 23:02, 31 July 2018 (EDT)
- I don't know for sure, but probably not. What are the images? If you upload them on a generic site like Imgur and send me the links, I can upload them for you. TheNuttyOne 22:52, 31 July 2018 (EDT)
- A few years ago i linked one from the talk of File:Pokemon Stadium Beta.png, and nobody noticed. Conker the Squirrel (talk) 22:55, 31 July 2018 (EDT)

So...
You know by me telling you to "step away", I was not telling your to simply give up on your point, right? I was merely noticing you were starting to get overly upset and was suggesting you take a break before you got yourself in trouble. This really isn't something worth leaving over. - I know. (actually I kind of missed you telling me step away at all but if I had seen it I would have known) I'm not leaving because of Birdo specifically -- trust me, I'd argue that point for the next six months on any other website if that's what it took. I'm leaving because of the general toxic atmosphere -- even if I'm wrong in my little monologue over there and it's not something other users are feeling, just something I've set myself up for by being a hardheaded ass, it's not a healthy environment for me to be in anymore. I'm not going to be able to grow and change as a person when every time I turn around I see someone do something that makes me want to slap them upside the head with a two-by-four. It's why I left the first time, too, and clearly nothing has changed -- neither in my attitude nor anyone else's -- since then. TheNuttyOne 20:55, 8 August 2018 (EDT)
Whoops
I somehow missed the "DLC" part in that Joker trivia point. Thanks for catching that ^^; Alex95 (talk) 11:17, March 12, 2019 (EDT)

Tether vs Extended Grabs
To answer the question you asked after editing the Grab page, a tether grab is now identified with the presence of a grab aerial (ZAir) and usually a grabbox located on the character but moving with a secondary model. Luigi's grab fits both so I'll be reverting your edits. Hitbox Enthusiast Zeck (talk) 23:50, July 12, 2020 (EDT)
- Where exactly does this definition come from? It seems like it would be more logical to limit to just a grabbox moving alongside a secondary model (which, of course, would still fit Luigi, but would also fit Olimar, Link and Samus in SSB64, and Pac-Man) -- this is, at least, noticeably different from other "extended grabs" (extended grab is long-range but still performed entirely by the character, tether grab utilizes secondary object). However, even so, the name "tether grab" refers to the idea of "tethering" -- i.e., connecting to an object -- so it's a confusing and archaic name regardless. Is this official terminology or at least incredibly widespread across the community? Or just something the wiki has arbitrarily decided on in order to maintain an invented term that is no longer accurate? TheNuttyOne 00:30, July 13, 2020 (EDT)
- The Grab aerial is more important than the second part. However I can explain Olimar because the Pikmin's grabboxes are on their models, not on Olimar's. I've done visuals for most hitboxes and all tether grabs have that property of having the grabbox on the throw bone and without the second model (grappling beam, Poltergust G-00, etc.), it just doesn't move. As for the grab aerial criteria, they just didn't exist in Smash 64, that's the reason they're considered extended. I'm not gonna lie though, Luigi's new grab did challenge the definition of a tether grab due to its inability to grab ledges. In the end, it cemented that the grab aerial is the main difference between tether and extended. The name tether grab was obviously chosen based on tether recoveries and the term is too common and popular to change so it's better to just tweak the meaning without changing the name. since Luigi's grab acts like a tether grab outside of the recovery thing. I can explain other grabs as well should you not understand completely. Hitbox Enthusiast Zeck (talk) 00:46, July 13, 2020 (EDT)
Lucina alternate costumes
I made an account to point it out
But the 4th Lucina costume seems to take heavier inspiration from Olivia than Cordelia, and the hair color matches Olivia more than Cordelia’s. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ChromLowell (talk • contribs) 03:39, July 22, 2020 (EDT)
- I think the big thing is that Olivia's outfit is black and white while Cordelia's is that pinkish red and white. All of her costumes seem to have more muted colors than the actual Awakening characters (compare the Nowi, Tiki, and Lissa costumes, which I don't think anyone would argue are the actual inspirations), so that's probably what's causing her hair to appear pinker than Cordelia's red.
- Regardless, if you want to push the issue, I recommend you go to the corresponding talk page, as there's not really anything I can do about it singlehandedly. TheNuttyOne 15:01, July 22, 2020 (EDT)
