I'd like to see some form of explanation on how the assist trophies (specifically the new ones) would function. I'm a little lost on the Sprixies. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by BOO! Or maybe Nutta. 14:22, 9 October 2015 (EDT)

- Okay, so... I took a look at your ideas, and I was impressed. So I just wanted to state my own opinions, and see how different they are compared to the rest.
- Regarding physics (respectively):
- Burying meteors sound very interesting and open up new strategies, and I want to see how it affects the game overall.
- No. No. Definitely no. Anything but vectoring.
- Make it 20%, and I'll say it's perfect.
- I... have no idea what you mean. Care to elaborate?
- All of my yes. Players who like this feature will get creative, and those who don't like it will simply not use it.
- Regarding physics (respectively):
- The roster is also a bit small, but it's otherwise good. (The only characters I absolutely hate in Smash are Roy and Rosalina.)
- Regarding stages, items and modes, I'm completely neutral. They will all get banned in competitive play, but in casual play, anything new is welcome.
- That's it for now. ^_^
- (I don't know if I was supposed to align all my lines, but I did so anyway...) Drill Blaster Mark 2 (talk) 12:42, 10 October 2015 (EDT)
- In terms of the wall animations, it's sort of like wall clinging, but the player still falls slowly and doesn't need to use any special input, they just have to be touching the wall. I do plan to add more characters and features soon, so there's that. Thanks for the input! Nyargleblargle (Talk · Contribs) 13:39, 10 October 2015 (EDT)
- So it's basically the same wall physics as Mario Bros. I don't see why not, it's easy to use and practical for recovery. Okay then, I'll be looking forward to seeing more of these ideas (please add Lucina). Keep up the good work, bruh. Drill Blaster Mark 2 (talk) 15:54, 10 October 2015 (EDT)

The roster?Edit
What is your reasoning behind the roster? Do you mind explaining why you cut so many characters (lol)? I can tell that villains were not a priority, since Bowser, Ganondorf, and the semi-villains were all cut. Yet you keep Dark Pit and add Black Shadow and Face Raider, of all villains. Jigglypuff stays, and you add that character from Pushmo, a series which I would argue is much more obscure than many of the universes you removed. I see that Rayman is the only third-party character. Don't get me wrong, I'm always interested to see other peoples' ideas for the roster and their reasoning for it. I find it funny how our visions for SSBV are completely different. John PK SMAAAASH!! 16:44, 12 October 2015 (EDT)
- I think Nyargle is adding them as they come up with ideas. Wait until they reply though. DekZek, The creature of your nightmares 16:46, 12 October 2015 (EDT)
- Sorry, just seeing this now. DekZek hit it on the nose. I can tell you that I am planning to add almost all the characters you mentioned, but I'm trying to refine the changes I have in mind for them before I add them. I must have had a billion ideas for Ganondorf, but I tried to cut it down to the best 5-10 (I'm trying to keep this semi-realistic, after all).
- As for Face Raider, it's sort of the Wii Fit Trainer of my personal vision of Smash 5. You could argue about Mallo, but I wanted to include an eShop rep, and I couldn't come up with a lot of interesting stuff for Dillon or Tempo (from HarmoKnight). Finally, Dark Pit would probably take very little time to add, and I had a more straightforward set of ideas for him, so I added him first. Nyargleblargle (Talk | Contribs) 13:47, 7 November 2015 (EST)
- Thanks for clearing all of that up. I look forward to seeing your future roster additions. Would you have a problem with me taking the codes for the tables if I gave you credit? John PK SMAAAASH!! 19:28, 20 November 2015 (EST)
- You can take it even if you don't give me credit. Nyargleblargle (Contribs) 16:19, 4 December 2015 (EST)

Tons of ideas, feel free to addEdit
Hi Nyargle, for your Smash 5 ideas page, I have a ton of potential ideas. Examples include customizable final smashes, ability to change attack specs, character models, and stages (limiting/simple interface to prevent piracy), and so much more. Do you want me to expand on any of these ideas here? They would take a lot of space, though, as I have thought of these for a while. What do you think? DekZek, The creature of your nightmares 12:12, 15 October 2015 (EDT)
- I have a few ideas myself to allow more customization, but I want to keep them a surprise until I've fleshed them out a bit more. Nyargleblargle (Talk · Contribs) 12:51, 15 October 2015 (EDT)
Items?Edit
I'mma ask the same thing I asked about the assist trophies for items. Like, what is Topi for? What makes the FE sword different from the Beam Sword? Etc. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by a turkey! Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 13:38, 7 November 2015 (EST)
- I'll probably add descriptions next week, around the time I add to the list of stages. Nyargleblargle (Talk | Contribs) 13:49, 7 November 2015 (EST)

- Mr. Saturn is good overall: 42 shield damage and a hilarious sound. But the Blue Shell, the Beehive and the Cucco... The horror can't be described. Drill Blaster Mark 2 (talk) 15:15, 20 November 2015 (EST)
- My vision of Smash 5 takes a very minimal approach in terms of items, so I can't promise all of those items will be listed. Nyargleblargle (Talk | Contribs) 15:36, 20 November 2015 (EST)

Actually, Mr. Saturn would make sense for a newcomer from EarthBound if they had to have one. Introducing just one party member from EB or Mother 3 wouldn't make much sense without the others (or at least one from each game), but Mr. Saturn was in the two most recent games.
A moveset for him on the other hand... (Alternatively, Giygas/Giegue would work, since he was the main villain in the first two games and a major influence in the third. And he'd have a moveset.) ---Preceding unsigned comment added by a turkey! Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 18:24, 20 November 2015 (EST)
- Obviously Giegue would just be a Mewtwo clone. Miles (talk) 18:41, 20 November 2015 (EST)
- I actually don't know what his moveset in Mother and EarthBound is (i don't really know all that much about the games)... But I'm assuming that's some form of joke based on his fanart being frighteningly similar to Mewtwo's art. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by a turkey! Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 19:31, 20 November 2015 (EST)
- I mean, yeah, that was the joke. Giegue/Giygas really doesn't have much direct moveset potential, honestly. In Mother 1 he sits in a pod and fires inexplicable psychic attacks, and in EarthBound he's an incomprehensible black and red mess. There's a reason they went with Pokey/Porky's spider mech as the Mother series boss in Smash. Miles (talk) 19:55, 20 November 2015 (EST)
- Ah... Yeah I remember reading something about that.
- So yeah, Mr. Saturn is the only good choice for a Mother newcomer. (Or Flying Man? They'd have a moveset, but they only have a minor role in the first two games... so...) ---Preceding unsigned comment added by a turkey! Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 22:57, 20 November 2015 (EST)

Just a thoughtEdit
Have you considered integrating any of these ideas into SSBD? Aidan, the Wandering Space Warrior 16:59, 8 January 2016 (EST)
- Yes, but I'd like to keep this as its own thing right now to maintain consistency. Nyargleblargle (Contribs) 17:02, 8 January 2016 (EST)

2x speedEdit
This is impossible as the system only has a limited processing speed. The NX might be more powerfull but then it has to be about 2 times as fast (pretty fucking logical), i don't think that's possible. Special smash has "fast" as an option but it tricks you into thinking it's faster. Or you would have to restrict something else. Cloud-master (talk) 17:09, 26 July 2016 (EDT)
