Some reminders

1. You've been making a few edits with your IP lately. Once you've made an account, you are expected to be logged in whenever you contribute to the wiki. This makes tracking your contributions easier and avoids any suspicion of sockpuppeting.

About the private browser, unless you are constantly closing and re-opening a new tab, you may want to check the "Keep me logged in" checkbox when logging in so that you are less likely to be automatically logged out.

For the reversion, per the user's edit summary, Japanese translations taken from tools such as Google Translate are unreliable at best. Their text suffers from being too literal at best, to being gibberish at worst; as such, they are not to be generally used for making translations, especially if you are not knowledgeable in the language you are translating from. Special move "citations"

Mario Jab Pages

May I ask why you thought Mario's jab pages should be merged? Knowing that might help me make the general page into what you originally wanted. Hitbox Enthusiast Zeck (talk) 21:29, April 22, 2020 (EDT)

Let’s say that those jab pages are angle side tilts/smash attacks showed visualizations of the same attack, but at a different angle. I feel like the jab pages should be treated like the pages about attacks that can be angled. In short, I want them to be merged simply because they are part of the same attack: the neutral jab. I didn’t think it was necessary for the neutral jab to split into three pages, but I removed my tag because I thought you Wikidians had your reasons. Here's the thing: Jabs are natural combos, each part of the attack has different properties and they follow each other. FTilts and FSmashes that can be angled are essentially the same move (with the exception of Peach, Daisy and Little Mac's FSmashes). A forward tilt natural combo like Meta Knight's or Bayonetta's have 3 parts that are entirely different and are meant to link together. The main difference is that you can stop in between the hits. While it's appreciated you're trying to help, creating a page with no information attached is frowned upon on the wiki. We do not create a page just for the sake of having it. I will be going back and deleting all of those pages on the grounds of no effort, but please from now on don't create a page simply to have it unless you can provide some worthwhile info alongside it. No worries, that's a common thing I see for newer users. We are in need of people who can make competitive articles, so if you're deadset on creating them, there are plenty of resources available for you to be able to research the moves of the characters. There are plenty of tournament videos, videos from top smashers, as well as character-focused Discords. Ask around. I'd maaaaaybe ask Cookies and Creme on that one? I'm not as familiar on hitbox info as I am for competitive history. As for metagame history, if you mean the history of how a character's viability has evolved, I'd say start by watching tournament sets from top smashers who play said characters as well as the aforementioned character-focused Discords, but that's just my two cents. I recommend using Discord. It's a really good to get in contact with people and I can even help you with Mario's data in every game but the first two.
