THE 8.0 GIMVITATIONAL was a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate online invitational held on VGBootCamp's Twitch channel. Eight players were invited, with each player limited to one character that was buffed in the 8.0 update. The stage list had the newly added Small Battlefield as the only starter, with Battlefield, Town and City, Smashville, and Final Destination as the other stages. Stage hazards were on and full Dave's Stupid Rule was used.
