Tournament summaryEdit
SHADIC's run in the group stage was particularly notable, as despite being the 12th seed, he is the only one with #2 seed Miya to win all of his round robin matches, upsetting #5 seed Dabuz 3-2 and #4 seed Shuton (Upset factor 3) 3-1. Conversely, the first seed Zomba underperformed as he lost all of his pools matches, against #16 seed Peabnut (UF 7, the biggest of the tournament), #9 seed Aaron (UF 6) and #8 seed Asimo (UF 5), all in game 4 sets. The other notable upset during group phase was #14 seed BeastModePaul win over #3 seed Light in a close game 5 set (UF 5).
The final bracket saw great runs from both SHADIC and #10 seed Lima. Starting in winner side, SHADIC reached winners finals after defeating BeastModePaul 3-0 and #7 seed Kola 3-2 before losing to Miya and Light in two game 5 sets, placing 3rd. Lima lost all three of his pools matches, starting in loser's side. He managed to enter top 8 by winning two game 5 sets against Aaron and most impressively Shuton (UF 4). Lima would place 4th after 3-0'ing both Asimo and Kola before losing to Light 1-3. Lastly #13 seed Epic_Gabriel made his first major top 8, starting on loser's side and winning his first set against #6 seed ApolloKage 3-0 (UF 3) and Peabnut 3-2, before losing in the ROB ditto against Zomba, placing 7th. The grand finals featured Miya on the winner side and Light on the loser's side, the latter being send to loser's by the former. In a close game 5 set which saw Miya use his secondary Mii Swordfighter, Light was able to reset the bracket. He then beat Miya 3-0 in the reset, his second Litvitational win and his first major win since LVL UP EXPO 2023 a year ago.
