The two biggest upsets of the tournament happened in Top 64, where #4 seed Raflow lost to #29 seed Susu 0-3, and #3 seed Gackt lost to #19 seed Lancelot's Chrom 2-3 (both upset factor 6). This meant that the two top seeds would face each other much earlier than projected on loser's side. While Gackt lost the set 0-3 to place 17th, Raflow's loser's run would last for a total of six rounds before falling to Sisqui 1-3 and placing 5th.
The #1 seed, Miya, won the tournament dominantly, only dropping a single game to Tarik.
