Possible moveEdit
While a page for downloadable content is probably needed, a page just for Mewtwo and the very rare character probably isn't. May I suggest moving it to "Downloadable content" instead? This covers anything not included in the game at launch - including the Miiverse stage, and any other additions in the future. Mistiryshak (talk) 17:08, 24 October 2014 (EDT)
Miiverse is DLC or update?Edit
Was it ever confirmed that Miiverse would have to be downloaded? It seemed as if it would be in an update. Should we differentiate that from Mewtwo, who has to be manually downloaded and isnt part of an update? Zm123bro (talk) 18:59, 24 October 2014 (EDT)
Brawl's DLC RumorsEdit
Should we mention the rumors about Brawl's DLC on here? It just seems like something to mention on a page about DLC. Aidan the Gamer 19:15, 31 October 2014 (EDT)
SSB4 DLC: True Or False?Edit
Hey, guys! I think have visual proof that the Ice Climbers, Wolf, Lucas, and Snake might be DLC for SSB4! The Master Hand—It's time.
- It would have to follow SW:NEWGAME. But, may as well post it. Although I doubt the ICs are coming back. They broke the 3DS version, didn't they? ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 14:04, 20 November 2014 (EST)
I have the pic! here take it! [[1]] The Master Hand—It's time.
- You do know that's fake, right? Not the images of the game, but the list. The link I provided disproves that photo tremendously. Aidan the Gamer 14:16, 20 November 2014 (EST)
- This is a) quite old (part of the ESRB leak), b) the text doesn't satisfy SW:NEWGAME, and c) the textual part was confirmed to be false information given to that leaker to identify him, if I recall. Miles (talk) 14:17, 20 November 2014 (EST)
SharingEdit
Should we mention the fact that the ability to share custom stages, screenshots, etc. is also planned? I'm not really sure how to word it in the article. Zm123bro (talk) 12:31, 21 November 2014 (EST)
- I'd like to see where you heard this. Aidan the Gamer 13:15, 21 November 2014 (EST)
- It was fact 51 in the 50-fact Extravaganza. (If you might remember there were actually 54 facts) Zm123bro (talk) 13:18, 21 November 2014 (EST)
Smash BallotEdit
Should we mention the Smash Ballot somewhere on this page? I feel it belongs here, probably near the bottom. Zm123bro (talk) 02:21, 17 April 2015 (EDT)
- Already linked at the bottom of the page; not sure how else one would want to include it. Miles (talk) 02:31, 17 April 2015 (EDT)
- All of the ballots except for the American ones (American English, Canadian French, and Mexican Spanish) have fields for a nickname and age, I don't know if thats worth noting anywhere. ♡FirstaLasto♥
K.K. Slider Outfit/Stand-alone costumesEdit
This section of the page is all sorts of crazy, what we need to do is either get rid of the stand-alone section and put K.K. and future stand alones in their own sections, or have subsections in the stand-alone section Zm123bro (talk) 21:04, 31 May 2015 (EDT)
Suzaku CastleEdit
It's still listed as "Ryu's stage" even though we have a name for it. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 21:32, 13 June 2015 (EDT)
Pricing Information in Taiwan RegionEdit
Since the 3DS version had recently been released in Taiwan, should we add DLC pricing information in Taiwan as well? An official price information can be found here (due to local regulations, the currency was written as "points" with an exchange rate of 1:1 to NTD). Note: as Wii U was not officially launched in Taiwan, the option to purchase Wii U or both versions were not available. Rabby250 (talk) 11:38, 31 July 2015 (EDT)
Rebate of Purchasing Wave 2 Collection in JapanEdit
Consumers who purchased Wave 2 Collection (Either or Both versions) in Japan before June 30th will receive a serial in their eShop purchase records which could be used to redeem ¥200 worth of Nintendo Points. Should we note this in the pricing list as well? Rabby250 (talk) 11:38, 31 July 2015 (EDT)
Character Pack #1Edit
The bundle of all currently released DLC Characters is, on the 3DS version at least, known as Character Pack #1. This is proof that there will be more, and I feel that the character bundle pricing should be mentioned.

- If the green arrow is supposed to represent DLC characters, then why would Mewtwo, Lucas, Roy, and Ryu still be on the character selection screen? [2] Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 21:51, 30 August 2015 (EDT)
- The green arrow is the boss characters, I'm assuming this is supposed to imply that Master Hand and Crazy Hand (and probably Ridley/YD/MF) are playable. So yeah, probably fake. Still, let's just watch and see what happens. Is it widespread enough to get to List of rumors? ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 22:05, 30 August 2015 (EDT)
- In context, there's a special boss battles mode, including a VS. variant. But it's not exactly exploding right now (not on the r/smashbros front page, at least), so it probably isn't notable enough. Nyargleblargle (Talk) 22:08, 30 August 2015 (EDT)

It's probably because the text doesn't fix? Cherrim98 Talk 10:18, 31 August 2015 (EDT)

Is it notable...Edit
...that the Super Mario Maker stage has its picture named as stage_5.jpg, even though there are only four listed (and Dream Land, Hyrule Castle, and Peach's Castle are stage_1, stage_2, and stage_3, respectively)? - In my opinion, I honestly wouldn't put it there. I find it interesting myself, but it could be on the verge of being taken as speculation. Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 22:33, 15 September 2015 (EDT)

$2 USDEdit
This is really redundant. Why not just $2 or 2 USD? – Smiddle 06:49, 17 September 2015 (EDT)
- When discussing international pricing, it's sort of required for clarity. 2 USD could be mistook for 2 cents, $2 could be Zimbabwean Dollars, etc. It's to be 100% clear, and to be consistent across the board. (" 'Tis Better to err on the side of caution") ScoreCounter 07:11, 17 September 2015 (EDT)
- Plus, Australia uses the same sign as US, so there's that as well. (Also, how can USD be mistaken for cents?) Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 08:48, 17 September 2015 (EDT)
- Isn't "USD" "US Dollar"? As in, not cents? I feel like leaving out the dollar sign and just using "USD" makes it pretty clear. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 10:02, 17 September 2015 (EDT)
- USD means "US dollar", not "US cents". – Smiddle 10:34, 17 September 2015 (EDT)
- Speaking from my own experience at least, most people aren't used to reading prices with these currency codes in place of the usual symbols. We have been using both to make sure it's easily comprehensible but also precise. A little redundancy is acceptable in this context, I feel. Miles (talk) 10:28, 17 September 2015 (EDT)
- I'm with Miles. Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 10:31, 17 September 2015 (EDT)
- In that case, shouldn't the country indicated next to it make it extremely clear which currency it is?
- Either way, what's the point of having the currency codes if we expect the reader not to know them? – Smiddle 10:34, 17 September 2015 (EDT)
- Context clues? Idk Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 10:37, 17 September 2015 (EDT)

- I know you weren't referring to yourself, SC. That aside, I'm one who's fine with the way it is. Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 15:10, 17 September 2015 (EDT)
- It feels cluttered and unnecessary to me. We don't really need the currency codes, because we already have it sorted by region and (as far as I know) regions tend to only have one type of money (not including dollars and cents, since cents can just be shown as a decimal to dollars). ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Highlight ReelEdit

amiibo of DLC charasEdit
Shouldn't it be mentioned here that the amiibo of DLC charas will still work even if you haven't bought the character? Maybe it should also be noted on the amiibo page. This also concerns the unlockable charas. I tried it with my Jigglypuff amiibo on my Smash 3DS when I hadn't unlocked her yet. Cedrickterrick (talk) 06:17, 10 November 2015 (EST)

Songs and trophies?Edit
Should the music and trophies be mentioned separately? I mean, Suzaku Castle, Midgar, and Umbra Clock Tower are despite only being available alongside Ryu, Cloud, and Bayonetta (respectively). So shouldn't the Bayonetta trophies, Fates trophies, Inkling trophy, etc. etc. etc. be included here too besides a passing mention? And maybe not the songs that come with the DLC stages (particularly not the ones on Super Mario Maker and Pirate Ship that are already in the game) but at least Lost In Thoughts All Alone. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by cupid♥. DLC AmibosEdit
Somehow my Roy and Lucas Amiibos work eventhough it's not the latest version. Explanation please! TabuuandMasterCore 21:37, 2 June 2016 (EDT)
- Huh? Be more specific. Is it the version before Roy and Lucas were released? Because as long as it's past the version where they were released, they will be able to work since they're not online-related. Disaster Flare (talk) 21:39, 2 June 2016 (EDT)

Split proposalEdit
I support the split since there is in depth information Pricing and tables for it. Most of it is information in Smash 4 and we can split it into two pages if we go in depth like with Smash 4. Corrin Fan 15:22, 20 November 2018 (EST)

Fighters Pass: Separate purchase for physical owners?Edit
I'm confused, do I need to purchase the digital version bundle ONLY just so I can get the Fighters Pass, or is the pass going to be available separately for people who bought the game physically? (I don't really like buying retail games digitally) 97.88.58.90 01:50, 7 December 2018 (EST)
- This probably isn't the best place to ask (as per SW:TALK), but it should be the same as DLC for Smash 4. In other words, you can get the Fighters Pass regardless. SugarCookie420 (talk) 15:22, 7 December 2018 (EST)
