Gerson is a Smash 64 Pikachu player from Peru. He is often considered one of the greatest Peruvian players of all time and was considered to be one of the best Pikachu players in the world at his peak, alongside Alvin, SuPeRbOoMfAn, and Mariguas, often using a defensive spacing-based Pikachu playstyle that can lead to long matches. He was first known for winning the Peruvian superregionals Arequipa 2011 and Tacna Torneo Nacional 2012, and has since placed top 4 at every single event he attended aside from Inka Fest 2019, notably winning the Brazilian superregional UFSmash 3. He is infamous for being perhaps the only player in the world to have 4-stocked Isai in Pikachu dittos, as well as being the loser of his infamously long set against SuPeRbOoMfAn at Tacna 2014.
