Smash is the name of a sub-menu located in the Options menu inside the Dashboard in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This menu allows players to adjust the following settings:

• Create and adjust custom rules and save them at any point. These rulesets can apply to Smash/Custom Smash, Squad Strike, and Tourney.
• Adjust the Custom Balance of every available character for local multiplayer. Custom Balance does not apply to Local Wireless or any online modes.
• Either stack or separate the Echo Fighters, as well as Mii Fighter types, on the character selection screen.
• Modify the size of the Radar between either small or big. The Radar can also be fully disabled.
• Turn the ability to highlight teammates in local wireless or online modes on or off.
