- Hit 1's far hitboxes are smaller (4u/4u → 2u/2u).
- Excluding the nearest hitbox, hit 1 now uses two extended hitboxes. Both of the hitboxes extend further (x offsets: 10/4.1 → 11/x stretch: 4; z offset: 1 → (2/-0.5)/z stretch: 2/-0.5), giving forward smash more range overall.
- Hit 1 has lower set knockback (45/45/31 → 28/28/28) and its angles have been altered (40°/75°/84° (downward) → 78°/10°/40°), allowing it to connect more reliably.
- Hit 2 has larger hitboxes (3.5u/2u → 4u/3u). The far hitbox has been moved closer to Shulk however (x offset: 22 → 21) to compensate for its horizontal range.
- Damage (5% (hit 1)/12.5%/11% (hit 2) → 5.5%/13%/11.5%).
