TriviaEdit

  • Every F-Zero primary spirit has the Speed Up ability.
  • Every F-Zero spirit depicts an F-Zero pilot and their respective vehicles including Captain Falcon's Fighter Spirit.
  • Only half of the 30 F-Zero machines featured on Big Blue and Port Town Aero Dive have their pilots featured as spirits.
  • All of the F-Zero non-Fighter spirits are fought on F-Zero series stages.
    • Mighty Gazelle and Zoda are the only F-Zero spirits to be fought on a stage from a game they did not appear in.
  • Dr. Stewart's battle is the only F-Zero series battle—spirit or fighter battle—not to be found in the Light Realm, as he appears in the Dark Realm's overworld.
  • Samurai Goroh's helmet lacks the Rising Sun Flag in all versions of the game, due to the symbol being considered offensive in Asian countries outside of Japan. Instead, the symbol on his helmet was changed to “侍” - the Japanese kanji for “samurai”.
    • This change was also made to his Assist Trophy model.
    • This also happens to Ryuji Sakamoto's spirit, where the edit is present in his shoes.
  • F-Zero, Punch-Out, and ARMS are the only series in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with a playable character where all current Spirits use artwork from the same game, respectively being F-Zero GX, Punch-Out (Wii), and ARMS.
  • Excluding universes with no new games at all, Kirby, F-Zero and Wario are the only first-party universes to not have any spirits from games released after Ultimate.
