Gogoat (ゴーゴート, Gogoat) is a creature from the Pokémon series.

OriginEdit

Gogoat is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Pokémon X and Y, and is categorized within the Pokédex at #673 as the "Mount Pokémon". It evolves from Skiddo, which can be found in Route 5, at level 32. There are some locations in the game where they can be ridden, reflecting their species name as Mount Pokémon. Some Gogoat can found in Lumiose City, where the player can ride one around the outer circle for a small fee. In the National Pokédex, it is registered as #673.

Take Down is a Normal-type move with 90 base power and 85% accuracy which deals to the user 1/4 of the damage inflicted as recoil. Gogoat and Skiddo can learn it at level 22.

Horn Leech is a Grass-type move introduced in Generation V with 75 base power and 100% accuracy. It restores up to half the damage inflicted on the target to the user. Gogoat and Skiddo can learn it at level 47 and 42 respectively in all games they appear in.

In Super Smash Bros. 4Edit

As a Poké Ball PokémonEdit

Gogoat appears as a Poké Ball Pokémon. When summoned, it starts charging across the stage using Take Down, damaging any opponent hit. It can also serve as a platform for all players. If Gogoat runs into a wall, it gets stunned for a moment.

TrophyEdit

Gogoat's trophy appears in both versions. In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U it is part of the Pokémon X & Pokémon Y Trophy Box.

Lots of people in Lumiose City get around by riding on the backs of these Grass-type Pokémon. If you summon one during a fight, it'll run around the stage and charge at your opponents using Take Down. If you like, you can even jump on its back and get a lift around the stage from it!
