Smash Rivalries is an ongoing invitational Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament to be held on April 8th-9th, 2017 and features a $15,000 prize pot ($5000 per event) provided by Yahoo Esports. The event is inspired by the East Coast/West Coast rivalries and specifically the crew battles which took place at landmark tournaments such as MELEE-FC3, GENESIS, GENESIS 2, and MLG Anaheim 2014.
