GENESIS 4 is the upcoming fourth edition of the GENESIS tournament series. It will take place in San Jose, California, from January 20th to 22nd, 2017. The event will feature singles and doubles tournaments for Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. There will also be side events for Street Fighter V, Catherine, Rivals of Aether, and TowerFall Ascension.

It is currently the fourth largest Melee tournament of all time and the fifth largest Smash 4 tournament to date.
