Apex 2016 is the upcoming seventh edition of the Apex series, scheduled to take place on June 17th-19th, 2016.[1] This is the first Apex event under the new management of the Bifuteki crew, following Alex Strife's removal from the team in 2015.
The lineup originally planned to include Super Smash Bros. Brawl for singles and doubles, as well as fighting games Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Killer Instinct, and Mortal Kombat XL; however they were cancelled due to each game's small amount of entrants.
