Regarding this
I said Mewtwo can't evolve, not that it can't Mega Evolve. And even if it couldn't, that would make 2 out of 9 playable Pokemon that can go Mega, which means the other 7 can't. Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 09:46, 19 October 2015 (EDT)
Friendly reminder
This isn't so much a warning as it is a reminder, as I do not have the power to warn you, but what happened on the Disable page was borderline edit warring. Please review SW:1RV and next time something like this happens, take it to the respective page's talk page rather than undoing repeatedly just to argue your point. Thank you. Disaster Flare (talk) 15:18, 9 December 2015 (EST)
Yeah, also your trivia point is borderline irrelevant. Like idk why you were pushing for it so hard lol Smashedpotatoes (Talk) 15:32, 9 December 2015 (EST)
I was pushing it because I thought it was interesting and I like it when I discover things like that. Also, where's the talk page? Unowninator (talk) 16:08, 9 December 2015 (EST)
- Right here. Hope all of this helps. Disaster Flare (talk) 16:11, 9 December 2015 (EST)
Fair enough. Also the talk pages can be accessed be clicking on the "discussion" tab at the top of each page. Smashedpotatoes (Talk) 16:19, 9 December 2015 (EST)
Okay, thanks. Unowninator (talk) 19:46, 9 December 2015 (EST)
Question about your trivia point
Is this counting Moltres's background cameo in the original and Articuno's trophy in the 3DS version? Because if so, then it's incorrect. Including those, Moltres has had 4 appearances, Articuno has had 2, and Zapdos has had 2. Disaster Flare (talk) 22:03, 18 December 2015 (EST)
- Never mind, it's already been figured out. Disaster Flare (talk) 22:04, 18 December 2015 (EST)
- It would be so cool if it were true, but it's counting Zapdos's cameo in Smash 4 while leaving out Moltres's in Smash 64, which is just a bad idea in general. Sigh. Maybe some other time... ---Preceding unsigned comment added by SANTY CLAWS! Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 22:05, 18 December 2015 (EST)
Wait, Moltres is in 64? I didn't know that. Oh well. Unowninator (talk) 22:52, 18 December 2015 (EST)
An easier way to underline words
You can use the {{rollover}} command to underline literally anything you want. For example, here's how it works. Drill Blaster Mark 2 (talk) 13:32, 25 December 2015 (EST) Test Let's try it. Unowninator (talk) 14:08, 25 December 2015 (EST)
Thanks.
Question
What is this? Serpent King 18:39, 4 January 2016 (EST)
- It appears to be a Villager using Pocket through multiple layers of Great Cave Offensive. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 18:42, 4 January 2016 (EST)
- That be exactly what it is. Disaster Flare (talk) 18:53, 4 January 2016 (EST)
- Arr. Serpent King 18:55, 4 January 2016 (EST)
- This seems to explain it even more. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 18:57, 4 January 2016 (EST)
- Arr. Serpent King 18:55, 4 January 2016 (EST)
- That be exactly what it is. Disaster Flare (talk) 18:53, 4 January 2016 (EST)
Yeah. Sorry if I got impatient. ;_; Unowninator (talk) 19:17, 4 January 2016 (EST)
Image names
Please name images after what they feature instead of just random jumbles of letters and numbers. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 19:27, 4 January 2016 (EST)
I did try, but it kept saying the name was wrong or didn't exist. (I forgot the exact words). How do I get around that? Unowninator (talk) 19:28, 4 January 2016 (EST)
- ...um, idk? Make sure the extension is the same as the actual image (so .jpeg, .jpg, .png, etc.) but besides that it should work. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 19:29, 4 January 2016 (EST)
KO Punch having super armor
It does, from frame 8-9. But the hitbox is active from frame 9-10. So that means you hit 3D on frame 10 :P -- The 70's called. They said BeepYou was here :v (talk) 03:30, 30 January 2016 (EST) Oh, so it was just timing, huh. Thanks for telling me. Unowninator (talk) 11:15, 30 January 2016 (EST)
Weight issue
Yes, being lighter means you're easier to kill, and the opposite applies to the more weight you have. But a lower weight means you're harder to combo, and the opposite applies to being heavier. Ergo, a weight change is neither a buff nor a nerf. Aidan, the Lovely Dragon Warrior 12:19, 7 February 2016 (EST)
So, hypothetically, even if it was a gain for someone like Mewtwo, it wouldn't be a buff? Unowninator (talk) 12:24, 7 February 2016 (EST)
- Right. Because then Mewtwo would be slightly easier to combo. Aidan, the Lovely Dragon Warrior 12:27, 7 February 2016 (EST)
Alright then, thanks. Unowninator (talk) 12:30, 7 February 2016 (EST)
Continuing my edit summary...
I accidentally pressed enter before typing everything. What I was trying to say was that Dragon Fang Shot can't be stored either, Paralyzer can also count as a chargeable move too and it doesn't store either. Disaster Flare (talk) 12:46, 7 February 2016 (EST)
Except you can't cancel Dragon Shot with your shield. I guess I didn't word it very well? Unowninator (talk) 12:53, 7 February 2016 (EST)
- Hmm...I didn't think about that. Let me check how you worded it, because it could just be a case of my ignorance. Disaster Flare (talk) 12:54, 7 February 2016 (EST)
- Yeah there was some poor wording involved, as you said "the charge can't be stored by shield-cancelling". The problem with though is, how can it be phrased any better? Disaster Flare (talk) 12:56, 7 February 2016 (EST)
How about one of these?
"*Unlike other chargable specials moves that can be shield cancelled, (ie. Aura Sphere), Bullet Climax's charge can't be stored by shield-cancelling. It is the only Special move with this distinction."
"This is the only chargable special that can be shield cancelled, but not stored" Unowninator (talk) 12:58, 7 February 2016 (EST)
- The first one sounds better due to it being more descriptive IMO. Disaster Flare (talk) 13:00, 7 February 2016 (EST)
- What is it that's trying to get across? Aidan, the Lovely Dragon Warrior 13:01, 7 February 2016 (EST)
You know how you can cancel Aura Sphere & Giant Punch by shielding? Well, you can with Bullet Climax, but when you do, you lose the charge. No other Special is like that. You get what I'm saying? Unowninator (talk) 13:03, 7 February 2016 (EST)
- Then in that case, I feel the second one fits better. Aidan, the Lovely Dragon Warrior 13:06, 7 February 2016 (EST)
- I think either would work, but I vote the second one because it's shorter and therefore takes up less room. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by cupid♥. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 13:07, 7 February 2016 (EST)
Then I probably edited it a little too soon. Should I change it? Unowninator (talk) 13:08, 7 February 2016 (EST)
"Should I do the rest"
If you wouldn't mind. The "currently" part implies it's an unknown going forward, when that no longer is appropriate. (Frankly, we could also probably drop "known" from "known variations" for all SSB4 special moves since that's a leftover from release, but that's a bigger task that I wouldn't blame you for skipping.)
