Champ is an American smasher who uses Fox at a professional level in Melee, Brawl, and Smash 4. He is respected among all the SoCal Smash scene for being a great tournament director and a veteran in the smash scene since 2006. Champ was also ranked in Melee during the Golden age and in Brawl during 2009. He quit playing after GENESIS and has recently returned to compete in Smash 4 using Fox once again. Champ is currently ranked 16th on the SoCal Smash 4 Power Rankings.

Champ's play style was inspired by Masashi and he never short hop in Melee. In Brawl, he's the only person to ever been ranked in SoCal with Captain Falcon. In Smash 4, he is considered to be one of the best Fox player on the West Coast and a sparring partner to Larry Lurr. Champ is also famously known for his combo in Melee which is call the Champ Combo, which consist of dash attack -> up tilt -> up air with Fox.

Besides being a top player in all iterations of smash, he was also a prominent tournament director in the Southern California scene. Along with Nealdt, he hosted major events that were a pivotal part in keeping Melee and Brawl scene alive during 2007 - 2012. He was also a panelist for the SoCal Power Rankings for both Melee and Brawl.

  • Champ is both his real name and gamer tag.
  • Champ is the only smasher in SoCal to be ranked in Melee, Brawl, and Smash 4 using the same character.
  • Champ's smash idol in Melee was Masashi.
  • Despite maining Fox in every game he plays in competitively, the only Star Fox game he ever played was Star Fox Adventures.
