Incompletion tags

Generally the {{incomplete}} tag is fine no matter what's missing. But if you want to bring specific attention to numerical data, don't use {{competitive expertise}}, but {{technical data}}. Toomai Glittershine   The Boss 17:53, 7 August 2015 (EDT)

Okay, I didn't know that. Thanks. DekZek (talk) 17:55, 7 August 2015 (EDT)

Signature pic

You need to reupload the picture you're using in your signature as a duplicate. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 12:53, 28 August 2015 (EDT)

How? I don't know how to upload pics, and using a tablet might complicate issues. Can you either teach me how to do this or do it yourself? DekZek   13:12, 28 August 2015 (EDT)
Done. Just replace the current pic with Fike:Dekzeksig.png. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 13:19, 28 August 2015 (EDT)
Fike? Lol. I changed my sig with the file, though. Thanks, nutta. DekZek   13:26, 28 August 2015 (EDT)
Lol, whoops. No problem! ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 13:27, 28 August 2015 (EDT)

Template:Delete vs. Template:D

A lot of the pages you're adding Template:Delete to right now actually deserve Template:D. If you add Template:Delete, it means a discussion is required before a deletion can be made to get community input. If you add Template:D, it means that the page is completely useless and definitely should not exist. In the case of unused images or duplicates or whatever, use Template:D. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 21:32, 29 August 2015 (EDT)

Thanks Nutta, so should we change all the templates? DekZek   21:34, 29 August 2015 (EDT)

Just for future reference:

Template:Welcome is meant to be used as a "subst template" which basically means that if you were to type {{subst:welcome}}, it would sign the comment for you. SerpentKing (talk) 20:16, 30 August 2015 (EDT)

Okay. Thanks. DekZek   20:17, 30 August 2015 (EDT)

Figured I'd let you know this...

You're tagging a lot of unused pics for speedy deletion; that's fine and all, and that's not what I'm here for. I'm here because you're questioning what's being leaked in pictures like this.

This is why it's a leak.  Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura  12:20, 2 September 2015 (EDT)

Oops. Thanks for the notice. DekZek   12:22, 2 September 2015 (EDT)
Now, with that being said, there's a link to that image on the Leak page, so you can really go mark any file that's a duplicate of that.  Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura  12:25, 2 September 2015 (EDT)

I don't know if you noticed

But I uploaded File:DekZek-sig.png like you wanted. SerpentKing (talk) 23:33, 8 September 2015 (EDT)

Quick question.

Do you mind if you add this quote into your quotes subpage? "Jigglypuff is a Hungry box waiting to be fed." (also, cite me.) (I'm not wanting more attention BTW)   INoMed (Talk) 14:42, 25 September 2015 (EDT)

You don't have to add the quote. ;-)   INoMed (Talk) 14:44, 25 September 2015 (EDT)
Feel free to put it in. Put it in the quotes from other users area. DekZek   16:24, 25 September 2015 (EDT)
I am scared I might violate a policy related to not editing other's userspaces...   INoMed (Talk) 16:34, 25 September 2015 (EDT)
NVM, I'm going for it. I hope I don't violate any policies while doing this!   INoMed (Talk) 16:39, 25 September 2015 (EDT)

I took the liberty of uploading your Halloween sig pic for you...

...since I saw you ask Nyargle for it. So here. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 22:44, 29 September 2015 (EDT)

As a thing of honour...

Nice work! Your contributions reflect the kind of awesome work we SmashWikidians like to see!
I congratulate you for adding so many d tags to unnecessary images!   INoMed (Talk) 11:09, 12 October 2015 (EDT)

Thanks, INoMed. I still need admins to delete all the images though, and I have made some mistakes. It's really the only really constructive thing I can do in the short time that I have, and I still have over 300 images to delete or find a home for. DekZek, The creature of your nightmares   11:20, 12 October 2015 (EDT)

By the way, The sheer size the the job was what warranted the shiningstar. (Your sig image is too big, shrink it down to 20 pixels. the maximum is 20 pixels btw)   INoMed (Talk) 11:23, 12 October 2015 (EDT)
Ok. My sig was one of the first things I did here, and I just changed the text for Halloween. I will try to fix that as soon as possible. DekZek, The creature of your nightmares   11:46, 12 October 2015 (EDT)

To answer your question...

I'm planning to mass delete early tomorrow morning, when the wiki is least active. Nyargleblargle (Talk · Contribs) 16:39, 12 October 2015 (EDT)

Okay. Just do them before 4:10 SmashWiki Time so that the deleted images don't show up when the cache refreshes itself. DekZek, The creature of your nightmares   16:45, 12 October 2015 (EDT)

About this d-tag

The priority is referring to the different positions of the different Toon Links; if you look carefully, Blue and Purple are still, Green is done with the attack, and Red is attacking.

That said, I don't know why it's unused. Maybe because we have a similar image? Idk.  Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura  11:29, 16 October 2015 (EDT)

Are we copying each other?

It seems we are. XD

That said, even though it seems you already have, you're welcome to grab any quote I have and put it on your quotes page. Hell, I'm willing to change your quotes page's code so that A. it changes more frequently, and B. it has much less stuff on it. Your call, though.  Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura  12:29, 20 October 2015 (EDT)

I will keep it the way it is for now, I have another thing I am working on right now. DekZek, The creature of your nightmares   13:25, 20 October 2015 (EDT)

Ryu's yellow-green costume

What is a hex number? Is that the colored bar below each of Ryu's colors? Are those colored bars "official"? Even if they are official, there's no denying that Ryu is wearing yellow-green clothes, which is why I removed that trivia point. Here's what I was thinking: The second palette swap is grey. The bar below it is black, but the costume itself is still grey. Would we write a trivia point about how Ryu has no grey costumes? John   PK SMAAAASH!! 12:25, 26 October 2015 (EDT)

The bars represent the colors for the Dark Emperor's magic on Find Mii. Hex number refers to this. Miles (talk) 12:28, 26 October 2015 (EDT)
So technically, Ryu's color is yellow. But it's still yellow-green if you look at it. Do you think the trivia point should stay because of the technical explanation? John   PK SMAAAASH!! 12:33, 26 October 2015 (EDT)
Give me a minute. I know a way to settle this.  Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura  12:34, 26 October 2015 (EDT)
Pixlr gives the color off as #d9d95b, which it classifies as a shade of yellow.  Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura  12:37, 26 October 2015 (EDT)
Fair enough, but under this logic, Duck Hunt, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Pikachu, and Sonic all do not have green palette swaps either. Throw in Pac-Man, Shulk, and Ryu, and you have a fairly sizable group of characters without green palette swaps. Because of this, I feel the trivia point can be removed. John   PK SMAAAASH!! 14:55, 26 October 2015 (EDT)

(Reset indent) Duck Hunt's alts are based on real dogs/ducks, and I've never seen a green dog outside of fiction. Jigglypuff has her green hat, Pikachu has his green headband, Mewtwo had a green alt in Melee (and before you argue with me about Smash 4, it's cyan, not green), and Sonic has green bracelets.  Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura  08:45, 28 October 2015 (EDT)

Just looked at Jigglypuff (SSBM), It has a green headband, not a green hat as one of its alternate costumes.   INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 09:04, 28 October 2015 (EDT)
And Pikachu has a green cowboy hat, not a green headband. Aidan, you messed up there. xD   INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 09:05, 28 October 2015 (EDT)
You sure?  Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura  09:43, 28 October 2015 (EDT)
OK then, I may have been using SSBM pages accidentally. xD   INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 09:45, 28 October 2015 (EDT)
Scratch that. Again. Just checked, Jigglypuff wears Kirby's sleep hat (Green) as one of its alts in games after SSBM. Seriously, I need to use character pages other than SSBM xD   INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 09:47, 28 October 2015 (EDT)
What I'm trying to say is this: You all say Ryu's yellow-green costume is yellow because of the hex color. If we're going by hex color, I'm not going to argue that. However, there are multiple characters that do not have green hex color palette swaps. The characters I listed, like Duck Hunt and Jigglypuff, do not have green hex color palette swaps. If there are so many characters without green hex color palette swaps, I'm not sure that the trivia point needs to stay. Do you understand what I mean? I'm not trying to turn this into an argument, but I do think that the trivia point needs to be consistent or removed. John   PK SMAAAASH!! 10:42, 28 October 2015 (EDT)

"What is happening here?"

Too lazy to tag the gif, but the Marth gif with the Counter sending him off stage was actually a (now patched) glitch in Smash 3DS.  Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura  23:15, 29 October 2015 (EDT)

Here you go.   INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 12:10, 30 October 2015 (EDT)

Yes, IK the above is violating, but dekzek needed a dummy usemessage.   INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 12:11, 30 October 2015 (EDT)
Anyways, the reason I picked this violating format is because I wanted to display all characters (UPPERCASE, lowercase, and numbers (0123456789).)   INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 12:14, 30 October 2015 (EDT)

...This new color scheme...is amazing. It looks a bit more noticeable but still looks similar to the generic. Thanks DekZek, The creature of your nightmares   12:16, 30 October 2015 (EDT)

For the image, her you go: url(/images/thumb/a/a5/Message.png/32px-Message.png) left no-repeat; (Just toss this in next to the background colour)   INoMed (Talk • Contribs) 12:19, 30 October 2015 (EDT)
