Madlobster is a Young Link player from Oslo, Norway. Madlobster teams with Yoshi Player Raptormoses. Currently ranked #1 Young Linke Europe and 22nd Norwegian Player He is know for playing on par with some of the top rated players in Norway despite playing a rather weak character in Young Link, often upsetting better players by taking an early 1-0 lead, but often players will adapt to the somewhat unusual matchup and edge him out. He always picks the color Red for his character, if that is not possible he will opt for white In Project Melee he playes Toon Link

Tournament experience

Madlobster has been attending Tournaments since 2005, being dragged into the scene after befriending Norwegian smasher Flikkflakk, Flikkflakk quickly teaching him the first of the advanced techniques of the game. His first big tournament was in 2006 Smashers Reunion hosted by Tonberry, where his crew was up against Flikkflakk's crew Fight For Fun. Flikkflakk was to on a tear and eliminate a whooping 16 stocks taking out all the 4 other players of Madlobsters crew before he himself went out to face him. In a stunning comeback Madlobster (then maining puff) was able to hit a hail Mary rest to finish of flikkflakks last stock, and to the cheers of the crowd putting at least 1 win under the belt of his own crew.

Madlobster quickly became a core part of the SSBM comunity by attending all the premier tournament at that time, Smashers Reunion 2, Smashers Reunion 3 and traveling abroad to torunaments like Renaissance of Smash 4. Also hosting a torunament series called Manly Lobster Tournament which was hosted at his own house, only able to keep about 20 players per tournament. Still top players like Masamune, Armada and Tonberry attended multiple of these torunaments.

After Smashers Reunion 3 after playing friendlies, Efen paid good compliments to Madlobsters Young Link, encouraging him to try to switch mains from Fox to Young link by trying it out at the next torunament. Surprisingly Madlobster started placing just as well with his young link at torunaments as he did with his fox, prompting him to switch main characters to Young Link in 2007, and he hasn't switched main character after that, putting young link has his main for about 8 years.

Madlobsters Biggest accolade as of yet is reaching the Number 1 ranked Young Link player at Smashrankings Europe.
