The myth of Smash Awesome!!! came up in 08 when Matux started doing randomly amazing stuff far above his actual skill level like Moonwalk edgecancelled reverse Knee (miss) to real Knee or taking of 4 stocks with a single stitchface turnip. Matux started adding exclamation marks to his Smash Awesome!!!! user title on the GSB for each of his amazing actions. Royal Flush began spreading the legend of Smash Awesome!!!!!, the best player in the world, in the german community. Because Smash Awesome!!!!!! doesn't care about recognition he does not play on his actual skill level, he is always sandbagging in order to not discourage people from playing Melee.
