Just a heads up
Keep in mind that SmashWiki has a One Revert Rule. If someone reverts your edit, it's best to discuss the edit on the talk page before including it again. I see that the edit in question has been resolved, but I'm just giving you a heads up. Thanks for your contributions so far, and happy future editing :). Mr. Anon (talk) 22:10, 8 August 2011 (EDT)

Something
Seeing as how you say you enjoy writing, and are 16 years old, you obviously have a very nice vocabulary. However, some users or guests at Smashwiki may have trouble with your high level of vocabulary. Try to refrain from using difficult vocabulary such as "lackluster". Great job so far though. Also, I may be wrong , seeing as how use of vocabulary is not specified within the rules (from what I remember :|", but I recommend keeping it simple anyways, for the less intelligent (and most likely younger) users.Vincent Tran Get ready for school ^_^ 19:27, 24 August 2011 (EDT)
- How is lackluster "difficult" vocabulary? Omega Tyrant 19:35, 24 August 2011 (EDT)
- I don't know, but I'm just saying that maybe some users may not understand. Besides, we use terms like "poor" much more, such words should be :::simple to understand for a possibly less intelligent user. Look at this from the sight of a ten-year-old or eleven-year-old.Vincent Tran Get ready for school ^_^ 19:39, 24 August 2011 (EDT)
For your hard work
I like your work :D . Can i help with some of the Brawl intros? Zeldasmash (talk) 21:48, 24 August 2011 (EDT)
- Thank you, Miles!
Now about that promotion...
- Zeldasmash: By all means! There's a lot more characters for Brawl, so this ought to speed things up...
- For the Brawl intros, the general idea is to make the intros seem a bit more "neutral" in their point of view.
- For example, take Ganondorf's page.
"Despite several of his moves being the strongest of their kind in the game (in terms of damage and knockback), Ganondorf is currently last on the tier list. Many factors lead to Ganondorf's poor placement: his very sluggish moves, terrible out of shield options, an average spot dodge, very limited approach options, poor pressure, poor horizontal recovery and predictable vertical recovery, poor mobility, and the fact that L-canceling does not exist in Brawl. As a result, Ganondorf has a very poor metagame and terrible matchups. He has the second lowest tier drop (behind Jigglypuff), descending 28 spaces from 10 out of 26 in Melee to 38 out of all in Brawl."
- While this is well-written, it seems to focus too much on the negatives of Ganondorf as a fighter. While he is rock bottom, the entire portion makes it feel as though Ganondorf is completely worthless, and it doesn't say much about his positives. A better version would be:
"Ganondorf holds the distinction of being the last character on the tier list, at the H level and at 38th place. Ganondorf by himself has an above average range, and has very powerful attacks, some of which can act as gimps, most notably his down air. Ganondorf's high weight allows him to survive at high percentages. Ganondorf's grab game, especially when combined with his side special Flame Choke, is also decent. However, Ganondorf is one of the slowest characters in the game, making him very easy to punish, and the removal of L-cancelling makes Ganondorf's aerial approach considerably worse; his lack of a projectile and his sluggishness also limits his ground approach. The addition of a slow, predictable recovery and a bad defensive game brings Ganondorf down even further, allowing many characters to easily outmanouevre him. All of this give Ganondorf the worst matchups in the game; he also holds the distinction of being the only character in all of the Smash series to have absolutely no advantageous or even matchups."
- That's what I had in mind: making the intros slightly more "balanced".
- Please feel free to alter other characters if you see the need. I've already done all the top tier characters (That is, S through C), and I plan on doing the bottom tiers first, in reverse order. As to avoid possible edit wars, I'd suggest that you go for the middle tiers for now.
I got a Sticker Center pic too.

Oh crap
I didn't know you were planning to make Results screen! But maybe you can clean it up if needed, or upload some images for it?-- PSIWolf (T • C • E) 11:46, 11 October 2011 (EDT)
- I'm a little too preoccupied in the week to make large scale edits (as I did with a few of the Melee fighters), nor can I easily upload images from Smash 64 right now. I'll be available almost all day near the end of the month, though, so I'll try to see what I can do then.
- That said, I planned on dividing the article into three sections, for each of the three games; in addition to this, there would be further sections in these sections (Yo dawg...), for each of the different results screens (Melee, for instance, would have one section for one player modes and another for multiplayer modes).
- Images shouldn't be too hard to find, but if you need help on that, I can potentially provide something.
Option
I don't know if you may have "User:DarthMarth" as option as it can confuse others.-- PSIWolf (T • C • E) 12:22, 16 October 2011 (EDT)
Hi There!
In an effort to get to know you better, would you like to brawl? If not, it's fine, another day would be great. My brawl code is on my page. What's yours? Pikmin Brawler Go Steve the Pikmin! 17:04, 16 October 2011 (EDT)
- As much as I'd love to brawl some users on this Wiki, school work and other such events in my everyday life currently prevents me from brawling, except for a few pockets throughout the year.
