I keep hearing about an upcoming game for the DS known as Super Smash Bros. Rumble. Is it trueNuttylizard (talk) 22:59, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Nuttylizard
- Nothing has been confirmed at this point. --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 23:05, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
- And don't expect that to change; Smash is pretty solidly on the TV consoles and not likely to leave. Miles (talk) 23:13, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
- Well, Sakurai did say that he was interested in the idea. And Nintendo likes money. --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 23:51, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
- And it was also said that each Smash game was supposed to be made as if it were the last. It would shock and awe me if they thought a DS version would be last. More likely will be the addition of the N64 SSB on the Virtual Console.
- Also, notice the pattern: SSB --> N64; SSBM --> GameCube; SSBB --> Wii. If another Smash game comes out before the Wii is obsolete (which is a long way away), I'll eat my foot. Miles (talk) 23:54, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

I have to have this conversation again...First of all, its not an official game, its a homebrew project. Secondly, well...it is real, but not official, so I don't consider it a game(which technically it isn't, rather a homebrew project.)SmoreKing Happy Holidays! 21:10, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- I agree with SK; no Nintendo, not official Smash and thus = me not caring. Miles (talk) 21:15, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- I found this. They were trying to get random people to keep the page.SmoreKing Happy Holidays! 15:26, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
There'd better be one...however, if we had to wait about 7 years (?) since Melee, we'll probably be waiting even longer. You need to take so many things in account: Characters, movesets, graphics, budget, copyright laws (in case of third-party, or people like Master Chief who are exclusive to non-Nintendo stuff) and other games in the making. I'll just wait for a new Nintendo console. And the PS4...L33t Silvie F33R T3|-| L337!! 22:05, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
I read in an article that the next generation of Nintendo will be in 2013, so maybe that is when Nintendo will start a new Super Smash.Stridentgear 19:58, 16 May 2009 (EST)
