Fox's Reflector, known informally as a Shine, can reflect projectiles that are fired on Fox back at the opponent. One of the best moves in the game, and is a extremely good factor in Fox's metagame. The move can come out in one frame without any delay. The move has a set knockback and stun and can do an effective edge guarding technique called Shine spike, where Fox can spike his opponent who is off the stage with his reflector. The Reflector can be followed up with other moves such as an nair, up tilts, up smash, or another shine. Fox can also jump cancel the shine to avoid ending lag, giving him the ability to waveshine, wavedashing out of a shine.
