I'm much better on SSBB as Kirby, I can just ease into the game and pwn CPUs with Kirby. He has five jumps, a sword, Stone, copy abilities, and Kirbycide. Mario's only decent special attacks are the Super Jump Punch and Mario Tornado, but Super Jump Punch is hard to recover with, and Mario Tornado got changed to Fludd. (Oh God, Fludd.) Final Smashes are designed to grant the player an epic KO. Dragoons, on the other hand, are meant as an actual tactical item, created as a means to introduce a level of uncertainty. This means Dragoons are more useful but Final Smashes tend to be more fun to use. Tough one here. Honestly, I'd go with Smash Ball, because no matter what, when you get it and use it properly, you'll be satisfied. As cool as the Dragoon is, a Legendary Air Machine (which should have been the "Hydra", which fits the concept of "one-hit knockout/OHKO" better due to its sheer strength compared to the Dragoon's offensive stat) ramming into a fighter the same way each time is trumped by the epicness of the Triforce Slash, Great Aether, Zero Laser, Mario Finale, and a slew of other Final Smashes.
