Origin

The name James Heart is a blending of the first words of this user's two e-mail addresses. He first used it for his Steam account, then a Sporcle account. This is his third time using it.

SSB games

SSB 64

James Heart has exceptionally little experience with this game. He played it at a hotel as part of a sixty-minute trial. James tried Classic mode with Link but failed in the middle. He then used a lightweight character and got to Metal Mario before his trial ended.

SSB Melee

James owns a copy of this game. He has beaten Classic Mode and Adventure Mode with all characters and All-Star Mode with almost every character. He has one more event to go before unlocking Event 51. His preferred character is Samus.

SSB Brawl

James also owns a copy of this game. He uses special controls with the Wii remote in that the B button is the Jump button. He never uses the Sheild button save for cancelling Snake's Remote Missile, so he put that as A and B together in favor of an easier Taunt button.

James enjoys creating stages in Stage Builder. His favorite is a recreation of the final boss stage in the Game Boy version of Donkey Kong. But since his copy of that game is currently missing, he doesn't know if his level is exactly correct.

Though James initially began always using Pokémon Trainer, his preferred characters are Snake and Samus. His sub-preferred characters are Captain Falcon, Lucas, and Wolf. Samus is the only one of these characters that James has real experience with outside of SSBB, though James has gotten far in F-Zero GX and Mother 3, and he has seen a playthrough of Metal Gear Solid on YouTube. However, James has no experience with Wolf outside of SSBB.

Thoughts on a future SSB

James wishes, should Nintendo make a future game, that the SSBB cast of fighters is able to return in full. He really wants to see Banjo and Kazooie as a playable fighter, but recognizes that Nintendo has numerous of its own characters who have yet to be an SSB fighter. Amongst these James hopes Krystal from Star Fox Adventures is considered, especially since during Falco's Smash Taunt on Corneria, the other members of StarFox discuss who should join the fight next and Krystal seems to have the final word. Also, watching an LP of Advance Wars 2 is making James want to see a Wars character in SSB4. He would pick Andy alongside Sami, Grit, and Flak. Though for such a minor universe, Andy might be the only character seriously considered, which should be satisfying enough.

Other games

Metroid Prime (1, 2, and 3; James doesn't have the trilogy version);

Paper Mario (The Thousand-Year Door is also entertaining);

Mario Party 5 (James loved this game long before playing Paper Mario, making saving the Star Spirits all the more rewarding);

Super Mario Galaxy;

Super Mario World (Game Boy Advance);

Mother 3;

F-Zero GX;

Pokémon (usually Gold, FireRed, or Emerald);

Animal Crossing (Population Growing, though James has had a taste of City Folk);
