When the entire wiki was copied over from Wikia to here, every single namespace was moved, including user pages. This means that there are a ton of user pages on the wiki for users who don't have accounts here. I vote we delete them. Talk pages are different, as they usually pertain to edits the user has made, edits which were carried over in the move, so they would stay. I'm talking about pages like this. That's 10K that NIWA really doesn't need on their servers. 10K doesn't seem like much, but it'll add up across the wiki. Not sure how we'd go about doing it, I'm just throwing the idea out there. - I'll say Slight Oppose. You had a long abscense but came back, so any of these users could do the same. And it'll cause red links in some places that would've been blue before. Though I suppose it shouldn't matter too much if they were deleted, so only a slight oppose. ToastUltimatum Complaints Box 08:19, 23 October 2011 (EDT)
- I was something like the 21st user to create an account. These are people who don't have accounts. And if they do come back and make an account with exactly the same username, they can either make a new user page, or ask for the old one to be restored. PenguinofDeath 08:30, 23 October 2011 (EDT)
- Neutral Both Toast and PoD have some good arguments, but I must hear more before I decide. BlindColours Thank you for reading my sig. 09:32, 23 October 2011 (EDT)
- Neutral I am one for removing clutter, but maybe redirect them to a page like User:Inactive user. --RoyboyX Talk 09:55, 23 October 2011 (EDT)

Oppose. Deleting a page doesn't magically cause it to take up less space; how would you be able to undelete it otherwise? It's also possible that, depending on the exact coding of the wiki, deleted pages actually have a higher computational overhead to process for things like links, Special:AllPages, and so on. Since I believe the primary justification is flawed, and I can't think of another advantage significant enough to overcome the arduous process of doing this, I oppose.
