I'm going to try and see what happens if we try to change what SmashWikia is (e.g. a parody wiki or a fanon wiki). Then anyone who wants the real info will come here while the other guys can go there. Please comment here. Toomai Glittershine The Undirigible 12:34, 23 March 2011 (EDT)
- I think you might need to explain a point to the wikia why we should remain a normal wiki and why they should change to a parody of fanon wiki, chances are they might think that we should change into the parody or fanon wiki.--Shaun's Wiji Dodo talk 12:39, 23 March 2011 (EDT)
- I still say everyone on this Wiki goes there to support turning it into a fanon Wiki. How can the staff refuse us if all overwhelmingly agree to turn it into a fanon Wiki? It's better than leaving things as is, with that Wiki becoming vandal hell and incompetent users trying to take over the Wiki, getting the staff involved. Omega Tyrant 13:12, 23 March 2011 (EDT)
- If we do win, who will change the wikia into a smash fanon wiki? There isn't enough users with enough experience already to stop vandals.--Shaun's Wiji Dodo talk 17:05, 23 March 2011 (EDT)
- Uhm, me, Toomai, and Mega will still be there to deal with vandalism. Omega Tyrant 17:07, 23 March 2011 (EDT)
- The vandalism isn't a problem it's if the wikia decides to change into a smash fanon wiki who will change it?--Shaun's Wiji Dodo talk 17:11, 23 March 2011 (EDT)

it's probley the best move--kyle.b talk 10:53, 24 March 2011 (EDT)
- Wikia know that we have all moved away. They will not listen to you and will revert any changes you make on changing it to a parody wiki, unless you do them on the sly. Wikia will probably just ban you for trying to "ruin the wiki" or something. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 15:22, 24 March 2011 (EDT)
- Regardless of whether you think it would work or not, mention your support for turning it into a fanon Wiki on the forum there. The larger the consensus appears there, the better. Omega Tyrant 17:00, 24 March 2011 (EDT)
- I'll have to do it as an IP then but I will do. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 17:38, 24 March 2011 (EDT)
It is very hard to stay civil sometimes. Miles (talk) 17:53, 24 March 2011 (EDT)
- Same staff member removed my rights "for abusing my power" and gave me a month block after Slipknot Darkrai apparently reported me for giving him a three day block for removing content. Each time DaNASCAT been asked how I abused my power and to show proof, he has ignored. Omega Tyrant 18:01, 24 March 2011 (EDT)
- I had my admin rights removed by Sannse for joking. We were discussing changing the name for the Wikia Simpsons Wiki to differ from Wikisimpsons and I suggested changing to SimpWiki as that would mean it would be less searched for. I then had no admin rights... ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 18:04, 24 March 2011 (EDT)
people are mostly going to smash wikia instead of here, i have not seen one person without an account here--kyle.b talk 08:16, 25 March 2011 (EDT)
- One time IPs edit there more often as they're often not aware of the move, but they do edit here as well. Omega Tyrant 15:41, 25 March 2011 (EDT)
I support. Unfortunately, since OT banned me from wikia, i can't post my support. Zeldasmash (talk) 13:24, 25 March 2011 (EDT)
- Create a sockpuppet or support as an IP. If it passes, I will ask Toomai to remove your block. But removing your block now for you to support would look bad. Omega Tyrant 15:41, 25 March 2011 (EDT)
So apparently, Wikia can force unwanted ads on all of its wikis without them being allowed to do something, but they are free to veto even a notice that a "competitor" wiki with 99+% of the activity even exists? Miles (talk) 13:47, 25 March 2011 (EDT)
Apparently. Isn't that the reason why we moved here in the first place? --Spenstar (talk) 17:13, 28 March 2011 (EDT)
