Round 46: King Dedede vs. Ice Climbers

The first fight of 2010 has a bit of a winter theme, and all of its combatants fight with hammers. (They may not technically be a penguin and a pair of Eskimos, but that's good enough for most people.) Prepare for a splintering battle that'll leave the loser stuck in the snow, ready for a game of Whack-A-Smasher.

Once apon a time, in 2001, the Smashers got expanded into a group of 26 members. Ganondorf decided that there was very little in the way of worthy opponents, so he decided to fight hand-to-hand instead of using his sword skills. Unfortunately for him, he picked the wrong guy to copy off of. Will Captain Falcon beat up the guy that stole his moves?

These two part-green part-dragons have always been at odds with each other, even though they're not generally considered rivals alongside the more natural Mario-Bowser clash. That said, the Yoshis have beaten Bowser as a child a few times in the past, and now it's time for the primary Yoshi to take it to the big Koopa, one-on-one. Speed versus power! Dino versus turtle! Egg versus shell!

  6. I have developed some more respect for Yoshi over the past few months but Bowser was the first character I used in Melee and is one of my secondaries in Brawl. Bowser also has the Hammer Head, his uair, the Whirling Fortress, and the Bowsercide. It's just isn't any contest for me, Bowser beats Yoshi.Omega Tyrant (talk) 06:51, April 20, 2010 (UTC)
