Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome, editors and users, to the Smash Arena! Each week this forum hosts a tussle between two characters from the Super Smash Bros. series! The winner gets, well, nothing. It's more of a poll but functionally, this is a popularity contest. You may vote for your favorite or who you think would win in an competition between the two combatants that week. No, you don't have to vote for the character with strength & power, just vote if you are a total fanboy of the character.. So what are you waiting for? Get voting! Remember, you can remain anonymous! If you have any requests for future fights, please feel free to leave a message here.

The Rules, Briefly

You can only vote once.
Vote under the name of the fighter you are voting for.
When voting, you can give a brief comment on why you voted for that fighter, or you can just leave your signature.
ALWAYS put # when you vote so it can help us count the votes!!
ALWAYS put in your signature with ~~~~. This is required for both signed on users and anon users.
Any comments about the fight should be left in the comments sections.

While he says he's king, Dedede prefers no administrative functions and the citizens of Dream Land continue to live as they always have. He's able to suck in air and fly like Kirby does, but only as a result of vigorous training he took after being bested by Kirby. He isn't actually royalty. And Peach Blossom allows you to damage and put enemies asleep and heal yourself all at the same time, it is not epic phailure. 220.253.239.114 05:23, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Week 34: Melee vs. Brawl

Melee vs. Brawl? Which game is superior?
Votes for Melee Do I need to say it? I will anyways. Brawl has more lag online than Ganondorf does offline, they took out Mewtwo and Roy, which...they should have kept, Most of the characters got NERFED, which really sucks, but the only good thing about it is the music, which is more epic than the game itself. If Melee was made the same time it would too. Melee has hitstun, allowing you to combo crazy, many high level techniques to become the pinnacle of skill with your character, etc. You people that say "Brawl is easier" don't seem to realize that Melee is easy too! But Brawl didn't keep its promise about no clones (Toon Link and Lucas anyone?), nerfs a lot of characters, makes it so easy to spam some attacks, and had terrible stage choices. At this moment, Brawl seems better in its own right to me. Only a New Play Control! release of Melee could swing/change my vote. I thought more people would've voted for Melee, as they're always complaining for stupid things like, taking out characters, reduced hitlag, TRIPPING (Eugh...) and replacing Mewtwo with Lucario!
