YB is a Japanese Smasher who has been active since Super Smash Bros. Brawl. He has mains either Samus or Dark Samus, and was more well known for his high standings on Japan's online ladders, including ranking 1st on multiple Smashmate Rankings in Ultimate. Though an incredibly talented player, he rarely makes appearances at offline events, having attended only a handful since he began competing. In spite of this, he is best known for his overseas performances after being funded to attend 2GG: Prime Saga, including defeating VoiD and WaDi at the main event and Ally, WaDi, and ESAM at Mega Smash Mondays 185, in addition to being the highest-placing player using a Metroid character at Prime Saga. These performances were the first notable results from a Samus/Dark Samus player in Ultimate, and marked the beginning of Samus' rise in the competitive scene.
