He was formerly ranked 1st on the Perth Power Rankings and was formerly ranked 14th on the Australian Power Rankings before he became inactive.

Poppt1 has jokingly called Ness's PK Rocket the "Poppt Rocket".
Occasionally, Poppt1 will decide to recover abnormally high during a match, during which he will often yell, "I'm going high!", which has become a staple of his gameplay along with the aforementioned "Poppt Rocket".
