KSB 2017 also known as KVOxTSB 2017 was a superregional held in Osaka, Japan, on May 4th-6th, 2017. Although more known for other games in its lineup, the tournament featured events for Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. A player originally from Mexico won both Smash events with Yu (who had moved to Japan) winning 2-1 over Kounotori, dropping only one game in the tournament. MkLeo took the Smash 4 event over Abadango, dropping only two games throughout tournament.
